Not justifying any of the decisions but:

1) BBD has played (slightly) more minutes in the run-in, and of the 2 maybe BBD is more likely to be with us next season

2) I felt the same - I think Wilder was worried about making what would've been seen as a 'defensive' sub so second guessed himself

3) Some players just don't have the stamina for it. He plays quite an intense game and usually scores or makes a goal before he burns out

1) JRS might have got 7 goals and a few assists this season, but those numbers outweigh his actual performances most of the time, he doesn't track back or defend which has been pointed out on here several times this season.

2) Personally think Davies should have come on for Peck sooner (around 70 mins) as Peck was getting a little overwhelmed by the occasion, but BBD in a positional swap for Hamer at LW does keep trying to keep an attacking threat.

3) Has Campbell managed 90 minutes for a while even before we signed him? if he hasn't then that's the limitation he has to work with and we've just got to make the most of him.

I know it's a bit of a daft comparison, but if Michael Owen had been used towards the back end of his career like we use Campbell (knowing and working to his limits), he'd have had at least a few more years in his career.

1. Agreed. If they're both fit then JRS should be on the bench as he has at least played recently. BBD not played for weeks. I think JRS is a better player in our formation. His defending isn't good enough but it's no worse than BBD or Brooks.
2. I would have brought him on for Hamer. I also wanted him on for Peck earlier than he was. He's not great but peck was poor.
3. I don't think his body can. He was doing those Campbell "I Want to come off" stretches on 60 minutes. Looked gone.

Probably a mixture of other clubs fans either disliking

1) Wilder as he's a marmite manager in that you tend to either love him or dislike him as he's outspoken and can speak his mind (remember him upsetting the teeth on legs that was clippity Klop over the number of subs than can be used in PL games),

2) SUFC as we have traditionally been a decent football side, dangerous and can upset the apple cart of others on our day.

3) fans, we have traditionally been a pretty passionate bunch who maybe have crossed the lines at times with poor behaviour.

4) legal wrangling, and the perception from others that we are often trying to blame others for our failings and wanting to get compensation in some form.

5) jealousy. A lot of other clubs fans covet what SUFC have - the club, the board, the players, the number of core fans, the stadium and infrastructure.

As it is im comfortable with SUFC being disliked by a good few others as you have to be relevant. Other clubs fans we could mention are desperate to be liked by others as they are insecure and not relevant or considered a threat by others. 'Embrace the hate', cos it means we remain a threat to others.
