Mate I’m in my late 40’s don’t depress me like thatOn average it takes us 10 years to bounce back after a good manager. So I’m looking down the barrel of having to wait until I’m in my late 40s for when we’re good again.
If I was a gambling man and if presented with the options of either setting us back years or bouncing back, I'd be lumping on setting us back years.
That’s because we chose a series of wrong managers. Maybe we get it right first time this time.Deja vu
From the last time we was relegated from the Premiership look how long that took us to get back.
Potentially yes. This is could set us back years
When was the last time we had two successful managers in a row? That’s because we chose a series of wrong managers. Maybe we get it right first time this time.
It leaves us with a heart ripped outPotentially yes.
I could see a few leaving especially the top players. Berge Egan JOC etc. Lundstrum will be off.
This leaves us with the ageing players like McGoldrick Norwood etc. It’s quite honestly a nightmare I believe.
Coach not manager!Set us back years when you see Barton, Adkins, Pardew & Lennon in betting odds for manager you bet your sweet aunt fanny it could
There before me got. Bastard.Bastard got there before me
John Furphy and Ken Harris.... or summat. When was the last time we had two successful managers in a row?
At last some sense14 points and 16 goals from 28 matches is pathetic. It just feels like the right time to move on, managers don’t generally recover from such a prolonged poor run.
It’s sad the way it has ended but I think it’s best for us and Wilder.
Well assuming you know how our wage structure is not competitive, and that you're not a bad trenchman or a bedwetter or a knee-jerk artist, then you can pluck a figure from anywhere and it'll be correct. That's called being a true Blade. How do you measure how many years it will set us back?
How do you measure how many years it will set us back?
For every point madesaying it could set us back years, you could easily argue that if we didn't stop the rot we could have been set back years.
Who knows what the future holds but all we can do is support the team through thick and thin.
