Could the pigs hold the key to us getting a striker?

After reading through the transcript from their fans forum (I've calmed down now and stopped laughing)...
If they are to have a fire sale and let's say FF is sold, this could be the domino rally we need to free up a striker.

If he goes to Villa, does that free up Hogan for example?

The funniest thing would be if we seriously did snatch a player. The fans would really turn on Mr Chansiri

I know you’ve done it to take the piss but can we not use the ‘Mr’ prefix. Boils my piss when they say it. I’ve not heard anyone say ‘Mr McCabe’ before. I don’t know why they do it.

Edit: but to add to your post, I think we should go in low on FF and João. FF is a cunt but a good player. Joao is what we’ve been missing for years - pace. And he can finish as well. Go in with a couple of derisory bids, let them know there’s interest. Never know, the players might want out. Even if they wouldn’t come here they’d likely leave anyway.

“We’re in serious trouble if we don’t go up” said the dolphin killer. No player wants to be in that position.

FF is on about 50k a week.

Joao may be achievable.

“When the big clubs come calling...”

Sticking a bid in might alert him to interest. We know what happens when that happens; player becomes disinterested. All we need to do is go in really low. We could probably afford to pay him big if we spend sod all.

But we don’t to upset the parity.

I don't think they'll sell before Thursday.

If they are out of touch in Jan? Anything that isn't nailed down is going

Football has plenty of cunts who are good players. So we buy FF and help the pigs come out of their embargo. FF plays well for us, attracts interest from other clubs and he 'downs tools' (as he's done at Wendy), plays (when he's not 'injured') for a move and destroys our dressing room harmony. No thanks.
I prefer Kim Jong Un personally.

Kim Wrong 'Un.

It looks like Westwood could be gone this week but otherwise I agree. The funniest thing about this being that by January they could very easily be in an uncomfortable league position, so any sales then might ease the financial pain initially but could then sink them towards relegation.
Chanser is just praying to the Gods above that they somehow, miraculously get promoted this season. Unless Jos creates and maintains a proper siege mentality over 45 games I just don't see how this is possible. He is also unlikely to be sacked as they can't afford the payoff.
In any case their squad lacks balance and depth so most of those players know they are in for one hell of a slog this season.

The guy is a genius. I swear he must be a Blade

I bet Jos gets bugger all if he gets sacked. Nobody had ever heard of him before his appointment

Megson in by December

Lucas Joao my lord, Lucas Joao.....

When he's out of contract next summer loads of clubs, both domestic and foreign, will offer him a contract. I expect him to have a good season. So now is our best chance to get him.

Yes we'd be giving them money and helping them in that way but the impact he'd have for us, potentially against them in the derby, would outweigh that. It would be funny enough signing him in the first place, but if we showed them how good he can be and get him performing at a level above anything he ever showed for them, that would be hilarious. Imagine if he was worth £15m by the end of the season?

Isn’t ‘Jos’ the same as ‘Chris’?

Not really. We use 'Chris', 'Chrissy', 'Wilder', 'Tufty' etc. as terms of endearment, the same as we sing 'He's one of our own', because he is. (Good title for a book, that.) Wednesday, with their usual lack of a single imaginative thought go on about 'In Caaarlos we troost', 'In Jos we trooost' as if they're long-lost friends and a blatant copy of 'In Arsene we trust.' Now Wenger built up that trust over many successful seasons. Both Carlos and Jos are here today, gone tomorrow no-marks. One day, they may stumble on a decent manager but don't hold your breath, but this 'Meeester Chansiri', 'Jos' and 'Carlos' are desperate forms of deference to people who really don't give a shit about their fans.

I thought we used Chris also because it’s his name :D

Chris has never appeared in Fawlty Towers tho'

But Josser appeared in 'Boys From The Black Stuff'. Gizza job. I can do that.'

Now, now Daniel. :D

He's only doing what Warnock promised to do to them. Though relegation and bankruptcy together would be over achieving in a positive way. :)
