we were bound to get the odd decent win to give us all hope then.............)

Yes, you know it

And for those studying the League Table, that is what the Footballing Gods want, they are messing with you.

No need to look at the Table until we have 2 more wins ....

We need six wins. With a bit of luck Bristol, Reading, Barnsley will have nothing to play for and Swansea will be safely in the playoffs with no change of automatic.

However we need something at QPR just to keep the confidence up. I think we could do a job on Cardiff but for all these games it depends on which United turns up.

Grafi is right, that run have left us with no room for error.

We need to win one and draw two more than Palace do. So needing to win six is bull, its dependant on how many Palace win. If Palace win two we only need to win three as long as we also get two more draws than them.

Believe.

Back to back wins against Forest and Leeds has given me renewed hope that we can at least make a fist of it for the rest of the season. Looking at the remaining fixtures for us and the sides just above us I could see it going to the wire. We may have left ourselves far too much to do but when you look at this remaining games it isn't beyond possible that we could still have a chance on the last day.....

We have 2 or 3 particularly tough fixtures but so do the sides above us. Our other games are winnable, but we'll need another result against a promotion chasing side no matter what. Mapping it out I expect the current gap from safety to remain the same for the next few weeks but as we get into mid-april we could narrow it significantly if we maintain the same level of performance we saw Saturday.

As usual we have given ourselves a mountain to climb but at least there is hope. I'm expecting nothing.....but ruling out the same.

COYRAWW!

Remaining Fixtures for Palace and Coventry are as follows:

Palace
Home games against Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Leeds and Forest
Away games vs Ipshize, Leicester, Donny and 'Ull

Coventry
Home games against Watford, Millwall, Scunthorpe, and Reading
Away games vs Derby, Pompey, Boro and Norwich

Some tough games for each of them and I don't think Donny are out of the Pooh either if their injuries continue.
It's going to be tighter than Nick Clegg's sphincter during a vote on AV
