Fantastic today, it was like watching Kevin McDonald at his best. Fleck and Duffy fabulous too but Coutts ran the game and was an absolute joy to watch. UTB

To be fair to Nigel quite a few of his signings were great, it was just the terrible negative football that did for him. UTBLet's thank old nige for signing him.

Certainly was today....although I do love McDonald. UTBCoutts is better
He's been running games for some time.Fantastic today, it was like watching Kevin McDonald at his best. Fleck and Duffy fabulous too but Coutts ran the game and was an absolute joy to watch. UTB
If he plays like this while January we'll struggle to keep him. Especially if he starts adding goals to his game, that would make him the complete premier league package.
Yes, he's that good.
Haha, seen it pal. You're a WUM, and not a very good one
Go forth and multiply
(See Billy Sharp thread)
Coutts is better
I remember when he first joined and people near me used to groan and whine at every missed pass he did. It wasn't that he was shit, it was that he was about 5 or 6 seconds ahead of his teammates so it looked like misplaced passes, when in fact, his colleagues were just Wank.Fantastic today, it was like watching Kevin McDonald at his best. He also made some terrible signings. Higdon! Mceverly! Wallaces (both)! Brayford (good player but not worth the transfer fee or wages) and don't forget Coutts was injured for the first 18 months of his contract plus a few others I can't now remember thank God. Was Sammon one of his?To be fair to Nigel quite a few of his signings were great, it was just the terrible negative football that did for him. UTB
Miles better. I've been saying it since the middle of last season.
Ahem.I hate to break it to you Patrick, but Pinchy has applauded Coutts since he came here, even when many of us failed to see the footballer that simmered underneath.

Ahem.
Cough Dronnie? I'm sure watching Coutts et al play like this will help any recovery, UTB

Then pinchy saw something I didn't as well. I was very critical of Coutts when he first arrived. He looked completely lost at first, admittedly I recall he had just come back from a long injury at his previous club.
That injury must have had some impact because he's developed into an unbelievable footballer that can control a game almost on his own. I'm delighted he's proved me wrong.
Absolute joy watching 3 quality midfielders led by Coutts totally dominate the game today...bursting with pride at the moment and not ashamed to admit it, that something good from last year is carrying on, well done Blades and most important Wilder/Knill
