So like it or not, he’d improve the squad and if the fee is right (ie cheap, it would have to be anyway tbf) then it’s won’t do us any harm.

Only started 8 league games and never two in a row.

Reads the game well and has been a very good player but he is in decline and his pace has always been extremely poor so I’d imagine it’s suffered even further. In the championship where a lot of teams are not trying to play like Man City and unlock defences they are more than happy for a ball over the top for a lively striker to out run the centre half he could end up being a real problem. That being said if his wages were low enough he’d be a decent squad member.

Nailed on this will be the replacement. I've not seen him.play to be fair in years but if he's not played much for Wrexham then there's probably a reason for that! Id much rather us play McGuiness for his aerial ability in both boxes and have a more mobile center mid in front to cover, possibly Peck in that role.
