Many of us wanted to applaud Danny Wilson as he walked across in front of the Kop. That would have been memorable and appropriate. Instead a couple of dozen brain cells decided it was much more important to jump on him. Thank you.

I'm filling up.

Not with respect for other people, you're not.

Year in year out, up and down the country, fans run on the pitch to celebrate success - be that winning the Premiership or avoiding relegation from League 2. I'm puzzled as to why you find it so terrible and why you think some of our fans shouldn't do it. The players and manager were able to walk around the pitch afterwards anyway.

For the record, I did not run on the pitch on Monday - I'm past that sort of thing - but I recall doing it at Darlington as a teenager, to celebrate the 4th Division title, along with several thousand others. Still a great memory all these years later.

You're not puzzled at all. I explained previously, and you filled up. I wanted all of us to enjoy the experience: The brain cells had "thought" only for themselves.

I'm not sure football is right for you - too much passion. Perhaps you should try crown green bowling?

I'm not sure how many ludicrous statements you've made in your lifetime, but I can guarantee that one is in the top three, however strong the competition.

Crass selfishness and passion are two very different concepts.

No problem with people running on the pitch and totally understand the kids doing it. Bit old for that myself but I did it at Darlo and a couple of times in my youth. No one got hurt. They never do.

What I have an issue with is going over and taking the piss out of the opposition fans. Shows no class. The other thing is. Go on the pitch, do your thing then get the fuck off so that the players can come out again. Then everyone enjoys the occasion.

one was me.. we just need to find the other 6999 now.. i've never been on our pitch.. could never get on!

>Perhaps you should try crown green bowling?
heh.. funny i said that to some bird i was arguing with at wembley last time.. although i seem to remember i suggested opera

For new kids on the block the lack of fear Stevenage have shown throughout is commendable , they are a very honest side worthy of a top 6 berth, just wish the 1-0 win had been a fortnight ago
