here, here, agree totally, think he's come on this season as I've said on previous threads, probably same un's that were slating collins a few seasons ago, along with Hill last year. Not saying any player is'nt open to constructive criticism, but riding em into the ground isn't going to help anyone.UTB.

Let's be fair, Collins and Hill were hardly inspiring when they first joined.

For Collins, it has took a demotion to make him perform. Can he do it in the Championship on a regular basis? Remains to be seen.
Hill came in at LB and was rightfully slated for his performances. However at CB (his natural position) he is a good assett at this level. Again, can he do it in the league above?

Also, you say 'riding them into the ground won't help anyone', well it hasn't had a detrimental affect on these 2 in particular players has it.... not that I am saying it has helped them either.

For those who actually know what a "scape goat" is, the answer is, no-one.

If the real question is "who will be identyfied, fairly or unfairly, as the worst player in the team and therefore will attract most criticism?", then I think young Blackman is only a poor scoring streak away. Several people around where I sit don't get on with him even now.

Agree Robbie ,and can the same be said bout Ched ,cause when he was in a league higher well we could all see how he coped, but when on loan at Norwich , and with us he scored a hat full in this league, but can they cut it in the league above, or have they found there natural level, well we'll find out next season won't we. UTB.

We WILL find out next season :)

Just one minor point, Ched scored the goals you mention with Norwich in the Championship.
