According to the Mail today from West Brom left back Joe mattock. Of course its on loan till end of season. Apparently he has only 'Played a bit part' this season for W B.
Left back is a definate area of concern for us. Lets hope he s something like. Anybody know anything about him??

Yes this should be in the rumour section but thanks for reporting all the same.....interesting link this. I've been moderately impressed with him before, he's a decent young player with potential. He is still a little raw though and for that reason I can see why he hasnt played much in the PL yet. I would prefer to see permanent signings come in though. If we havent learned our lesson regarding small squads and loans by now we never will.

JOE Mattock has joined Championship outfit Sheffield United on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old defender could make his debut in the Blades' league trip to Coventry on Saturday.

Mattock will hopefully get some much-needed game time at Bramall Lane, after being hampered by ankle and thigh injuries during the early months of the season.

With internationals Marek Cech and Nicky Shorey also ahead of him in the left-back pecking order, he has yet to make a first-team appearance this term.

Albion do not have an option to recall the England Under-21 international during his loan spell in South Yorkshire.
