Suspect it's misdirection, we are surely in for a Striker?
 
Walsall fan at work says he was brilliant for them last season. He rates him higher than Brandy ( I think he was referring to the player not the drink...!).

Misdirecting who? Who but United fans will be avidly following United's Twitter accounts?
What is to be gained by saying "Weir not close to another signing" anyway?
If it says that, my guess is that we're not close to another signing.

Doesn't sound like many have seen him play, but that doesn't stop them having opinions! Some think he's never going to be good enough for premier league; others surprised he has been sold. ​
e.g.:

"Very disappointing if its permanent."

"Hope we have put a sell out clause in just in case he does turn out to be as good as some hope!"​

He should be light on his feet as he sounds full of helium on audio boo. He has also referred to us as Sheffield. Send him back immediately.

Not really, but i remember the Cofie one. Made him look like he could actually play the game. I'd look look like Messi in one of those compilation things, theyre about as reliable as a teenage pothead. Anybody can do a few tricks, run about a bit and have a shot at goal.

Bizarre! Do they get advertising revenue every time somebody visits their Twitter page or summat?
If not, they might as well keep their tweeting gob shut until they've got something concrete to announce.

I repeat, how the hell is what SUFC tweet meant to influence the actions of other clubs?
It just gives the impression (to our fans) that the IT / PR dept of the club hasn't really got a clue what's going on.
How can we trust future tweets / social media announcements if they're not consistent and reliable?
 
This is a brilliant signing. The lad is extremely talented, I've watched him at least half a dozen times and am amazed he's never been given a first team chance at Stoke. Probably down to their style of play over the last few years. United have done well to get him and he will provide a spark from the middle. I'm thrilled we've got him.

Pace, close control, good vision, a range of passing and a decent shot on him. Proper footballer.
 
I think this is an exciting signing nice to see United showing a bit of ambition for once, just the sort of player we need to be bringing into the club. :):):)
 
Quite a decent signing, Beligum as a country are producing some great talented footballers, technically acute with great close control and a willingness to take players on.
Football around the world is moving this way and it's nice to see United invest in good young talented players.
 
Walsall really wanted to get this lad back and he can chip in with a few goals as well.

Seems like a better player than McDonald on paper to me.
