Stoke fan who posts fairly regularly on BladesMad and who has been right (and wrong) about us signing players in the past reckons we're signing Cuvelier on loan from them.

He was being looked at by Spurs and Man City this time last year, but hasn't really featured at all for anyone.

He claims to be a box-to-box midfielder, but they all do don't they!

I was reading his comments to you earlier rather laughable. He gets everything right barring, being rather criptic about the appointment of either Adams or S'OD, or not even getting close to the new manager.

I'd forgotten about him but really impressed me for Walsall last season at t'Lane. If you remember Long making a world class save in that game from Grigg, it was Cuvelier that skipped past Williams (not impressive, my Gran could do him) and pulled it back for him. Great bit of play that would have beaten any LB not just Williams. Would be dead happy with this signing.

Oh, and Billy Boy to knock in the chances would be nice!
