I don't know why but I was optimistic when KB brought Boggy in. Yes he came to us as a big fish in a little pond but he had a good goalscoring record against Championship teams. What a disappointment...I don't think I ever saw him start and definitely didn't see him play 90 minutes. He rarely seemed fit and despite him bagging a few goals last season through creating a few penalties (I'm not going to say exactly diving), I didn't really like it. I can't help but think his tenure with us as departure was linked with the shirt sponsor, and no doubt now he's gone he'll probably become a goalscoring never tiring machine with Blackpool...I can't really see this bit happening though.
We need the money back more than we need the player. Another good move by Wilson.
