funny.. i last posted at around 8pm and i saw this coming.. it's the same old same old isn't it.. ok he's not our player yadda yadda but he has been our best player.. i think this will knock the stuffing out of the fans and the whole atmosphere at the lane will change.. maccabe has totally lost credibility and adams 'already' needs to pull something out of the bag to regain his..
personally i think we're doomed.

Maybe Adams saw the future of the club playing in the Youth Cup last week! Both the kids looked stronger than Bartley and just as quick.

Thing is though that Bartley was part of our immediate please-god-let's-stave-off-relegation future wasn't he? Or are these kids for our League One bounceback?

One word 'Disappointed'.

We edge closer and closer to relegation, unless Adams can lift the team.

Don't want to dwell on this too much, but according to MA it was Bartleys decision to go following Collins coming in. Bartley apparently thought his opportunities would be limited now...

So he went to Rangers and sat the whole game on the bench.

Speaking with a Rangers fan at work, he can't see where he'll get a regular slot as Wier and Boughera have a decent partnership. He's back up, unless of course Wier's legs go.

Can't help but feel he'd have been better off with us if first team football was the key factor. But I don't think it was.

Good luck Kyle!

Clearly not up for the fight then, be that the relegation fight or the fight with Collins for the place in the team. And if he thought Collins's arrival spelled the end for him, he can't have had much faith in his own ability.

More like Wenger thought he'd not benefit playing here, given our league position etc

Im sorry, I mis-represented what I meant... I meant he wouldnt benefit much from playing in a relegation dogfight.

Cool, perhaps it's more that Wenger would feel Bartley would benefit from playing in the Europa League? And in that respect you couldn't really blame bartley for taking the opportunity.

cant really blame either of them on that assumption, yes. whatever happened to airtight, year long loans though?

Anybody reckon our genius management team tried to negociate some sort of deal with Wenger? Maybe we sign a different player on loan when the window opens on monday?

I know he's gone, but he played his first game for Rangers on Sat. According to my mate at work who's a Rangers fan he had a decent game and will probably play in Europa League tomorrow night.

But... he player in Centre Mid, just in front of the back 4.
