I'm not annoyed that Kyle has gone because we wont miss him that much I dont think. The Kyle Walker like timing of it has pissed me off though. Who the feck do we play tomorrow now? Collins was registered too late so it will have to be Ertl and Lowry I suppose.

This should teach the club not to pursue season long loans from the top clubs because they're not worth the paper they're written on. They wont learn from it though.

I'm sorry to see him go, but I'm not sure Adams wanted him. After bringing in Lowry on loan, he's consistently said his main priority was signing an experienced centre half which he's achieved with Collins. Presumably these would be Adams first team choices and by letting Bartley go he can now bring in a loan player to play in the first team rather than sit on the bench.

I agree there seems to be a bit of an over reation. But it was only the other week you declared that you'd attended your first game for 15 years, wasn't it? On what are you basing your opinion?

I am not sure whether it is Bartley actually going or what it actually Symbolizers for us. We were in the relegation shitter at the beginning of January and we were told we were going to strengthen the team and that if Micky could identify a player money would be made available. With the players who have come in and left I would estimate that we are paying alot less in wages now than we were at the end of December. The quality of player has gone, however could be argued for more experience but I don't see where the goals are getting supplied from in midfield and certainly don't see any clean sheets. Micky has a big job convincing the players he knows what he is doing here. Whatever people think about players they do have the same thoughts as us and the swap we made today will certainly worry a few of them as it does us

One thing about Britton's loss - he was anything but a supplier of service for goals. He was a player for another day ( I was a big fan) and I can't see how we've been weakened by his loss. And we've brought in a half decent striker who should at least offer something extra.

The defence has been dismantled, but let's remember, it's been shit all season. If there was a risk free adjustment to be made, it was in defence.

I liked Bartley and am surprised at him going as I thought we had him for the season, but as has already been pointed out, he's been part of a shaky defence so it's not as if we'll be much worse at the back without him. We'll have to see how Collins fits in but you also can't blame Bartley for taking the chance to play at Rangers. They are truly a massive club. Like us ;-)

It shouldn't come as such a surprise. He's an Arsenal player who wants to break into their team, is playing in a relegation battle going to help his cause? He'll find Rangers easy in comparison and in situations he'd more likely find at Arsenal.

For our part, we've reacted an got a replacement. He's no Vidic, but should be expected to do a decent job at the back for us. Not sure who else is available that would be willing to join a dogfight right now?

Hmm, sounded rubbish to me too. But actualy, probably not. Adams has reviewed our poor defense. We're rammed with loanees. According to some Bartley had some issues and wanted away - given this how much would Adams have wanted to keep him?

Given the above, I can't se the fuss about letting him go. The disappointment (from many) with his replacement is probably more of an issue. But let's see what Collins is made of.

I can see where Adams is coming from in saying that he wants our own players and not loanees, is this not what the majority on here have been saying for 18 months now? However it is disappointing to see Kyle go, I would have preferred us to play someone with experience alongside him as he looked a lot better when he had Morgs there IMO. But Adams has brought Lowry in and I suppose he's the cheaper of the two so hopefully it frees up some wages and a loan spot so maybe he has someone in mind to bring in on loan to cure the lack of creativity in midfield.
