Westfield Corner. Smoke bomb set fire Alarm off

We didn't know what to do and was waiting for something other than the auto warning to come over the tannoy. We did know it was some wanker in away end though as we could see it from Westfield.

The Scunny fans set off a smoke bomb just before the teams came back out and it seemed to trigger an automatic alarm.

Weird really, it sounded like the bloody doomsday siren, really loud and this voice was telling us over and over again that there was was an emergency in the stadium and to evacuate the building. We were waiting for Sinclair to say something but he was just babbling on about getting behind the team and the game kicked off.

I wonder if there might have been some sort of emergency assessment drill going on today, because Sinclair was banging on about stadium security just after 2pm and asking everybody to be vigilant and report unattended bags etc. We commented that it'd have made more sense if he'd waited till the ground was fuller.

Anybody here Sinclair warn about being hit by flying balls, he did it twice? Who'd have thunk it, there's a chance if being hit by a ball a a football match. He should have added unless you're standing in the goal. UTB
