Diallo and Doyle are top of our domestic loan list (of a few names). LO'B (buy) would only come into it if Forest put a yellow sticker on him with a couple of days of the window left. If we have to use a domestic loan on a LCB then we might have to consider it to be an established right footer. Tom Davies name is quite high on our list at the moment and we will press the button if Doyle doesnt materialise (Wolves and Leeds). Nailing down the LCB and where he is coming from will decide our strategy with the rest. Our strategy this year is quite different to the previous years however none of our targets towards the end of the strategy have moved yet apart from the Hungarian LCB..!

Would like Tom Davies eitherway given there’s no fee, and I’d guess low levels of PL interest so his demands can’t be huge. Of course if they are we just look elsewhere as he’s clearly not that hungry to prove a point.

True, but we need 2 attacking midfielders now. I wouldn't want both of them to be loans or we're just kicking a huge problem down the road

Hope they’ve got it right. Personally I’d prefer Doyle on loan and an investment on someone such as Tillman as we need to replace Ndiaye.
Hecky has just basically said we’re not going for Doyle though in the interview. Which I don’t understand if it’s still possible to get Palmer (or McAtee maybe??)

Cole Palmer apart from McAtee would be the closest thing to Ndiaye bar getting McAtee back.

I would be surprised if we could get him on loan but you never know.

i agree i think this is the formation we have to go with in the premier league cant see the point of 2 strikers when were gonna get about 30% possesion most games think berge and souza will be the 2 pivots with traore and slimane as the 2 behind hopefully a new striker

I find it unlikely, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Pep didn't think Cole had progressed as much as he'd liked last year, so maybe he thinks a loan will kick start him?
