I listened to that tonight and Jim definitely didn't say that. He said we were looking at a left footed midfielder at city. James McAtee, Cole Palmer, Maximo Perrone, Oscar Bobb and Micah Hamilton all fill that description and would be realistic(ish).

I thought he tried to backtrack when people started suggesting Palmer.

If the rules are the same as for the championship then I think loans from other clubs have to be included as part of the 25 irrespective of age. So McAtee and Doyle had to be named in the squad last season.
