Taking the grandson aged 8 on Saturday and would prefer to travel by supporters coach. It would probably mean joining a supporters club. Any telephone numbers or advice would be appreciated ? I realise I've left it late.

To be realistic the match will probably be postponed

Yeh i can't see it being on. No undersoil heating there, and with the weather meant to be getting worse i'd be very surprised if it's on.

Was going to say the same. No undersoil heating and the temperature not rising above freezing for the forseeable future doesn't giving you much hope.

Let's just hope they do it nice and early to save hassle.

I think I read somewhere we'd sold our allocation for this one, if that's the case they're more likely to wait until the last possible so as to max out on the payday. I think I also read they've had a few postponed lately too, so will need to play from both a financial standpoint for some income and to avoid having to do too much catching up games in hand.

I'd agree it's unlikely to go ahead, but we'll maybe only know for sure when in Nottingham.

Forecast heavy snow for Friday:)

I can't see it being on, so shopping with the wife it is then!!

That's a good outcome then. One less game without Hill and/or Collins. Maybe Lecs could even be fit by the time the game is played.

Once the TV crews stopped paying Greenwich Blade's hitching fees for him he reverted to pleb-lic transport with the rest of us LBs.

Are you sure it wasn't the time when he decided it was futile to carry on trying to impress that eastern european bird? :)

Wonder if he packed a few horse burgers in his time at Tesco's

Looks like I'm visiting Sitters for dinner on Saturday at this rate... or wasting the train tickets, one of the two.

Shocked you are using public transport Adrian

I have a ready-made excuse in that I'm on a tight schedule over the weekend; I'm at a gig in Brighton Friday night for a start, but even more importantly there's a Cardiacs Disco Benefit Gig at the Bull & Gate on Saturday evening, so I booked myself onto the 17:28 from Nottingham to make sure I'm there in time to sell some books.

But then it might just be that the last time I hitched was last June for the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge, so I hang my head in shame! Cheap transport has turned me into a lightweight, but I also have to admit that hitching was getting harder and I had quite a lot of near misses, like turning up on 40 minutes at Peterborough.

I WILL dust the old thumb off before the season's out though, just to keep me in practice.

I had to take all the bloody things off the shelf and print out the blue "Emergency Product Withdrawal" labels. I'm just glad I work at night because the day staff must be sick of customers making jokes so lame they should be screened off and shot (although my "Tesco burgers, just say 'neigh'" is surely worthy of a t-shirt).
