If there was money for Maupay and McBurnie, I’d have liked us to go for Kalvin Phillips, who despite what some have said is a cracking player.

I’m not usually ITK but I did hear that he was available for around 15 to Villa earlier this season, not the amount quoted in the media.

By far the best option.

Phillips is definitely the man if we make a splash after McBurnie.

I think 15 mill plus is way too much for Billing or Phillips. Don't rate either that much.

Id be tempted to look abroad for a physical midfielder see if we can find an unpolished gem.

I rate Phillips, although he was out on the piss the night after the derby capitulation as if nothing had happened. Didn’t seem bothered one bit, which for some reason doesn’t sit well with me.

But it is an absolute situation for the future because if he's ever available we'll be interested.

Coady was a mega over sight but we were never going to get him for 1 million when Clough could sign his pal for 2 million (if memory serves me).

I Can’t see why wolves would be interested in selling though to be honest. Nah be one to go at next season if we were to stay up.

Potentially his agent working on securing another pay increase - as was the result when CW expressed an interest last season.

Can't see this happening at all unfortunately. I seem to remember his salary uplift was to £50/week and isn't he still captain at Wolves?
