So, who would take Clough back?

Not in a fukin thousand years. He was slightly less shit than some of the other piles of shit that we have had managing us. But thats like comparing which is the nicer turd in the bowl on a sunday morning after a curry and 10 pints the previous night.

He was and is a good manager. he did miracles with the shite players that finished 11th last year.

Tactically very good, played good football when he had good players at his disposal, when he had lesser players at his disposal he still managed to grind out results. If the club hadn't sold Maguire, bottled it on signing Coady and actually fronted up a good amount of money to sign a decent forward we would have gone up in 2014-2015.

Clough is a top bloke, good manager for this shite level and we should never have sacked him. Good luck to him this year, hope he does well with Burton.

No and I knew someone would ask that. Can we pleaee just give Wilder and this team 10 games, as bad as it is now, rather than slitting wrists after 3 league games. We've had some bad luck, we've played badly at times and been punished and Wilder hasn't got in the players he needs. In a month or so if its still the same then we can start to really panic, and rightly so.

Why look back when you can look forward? Cmon kev.... next

Is that all he gets 10 games? Will you then call for his head if we're bottom?

No, cause not. I believe in Wilder that we have the best manager we could have appointed, but if after 10 games we're bottom than I think we can be rightly pissed off and think we're in for a poor season.

Yeah I want Wilder to do well. But it's somewhat hard seeing Clough go up with another team and batter the pigs, while we're wallowing in this god awful league.

Y'reckon?

Don't be daft. He would never have taken us down.

Not that season, however sacking him a few games in started us on the back foot. If the new manager had a full pre season who knows what would of happened.

Id argue had blackwell of not under achieved we would of been in the premier league.

Like when he took United from Robson and certain relegation to a play-off final.

Let me guess, not enough tippy tappy?

How did he underachieve? Do you remember the bloke before him?

One of the many problems the club has is that we still have a large chunk of our budget paying high salaries to ineffective players like Brayford, Freeman, Wallace(s), Coutts, Scougall and McNulty. I would hazard a guess we would be 40-50k a week better off without them.

Remind me who is responsible for that?

We are so far apart on this issue it is untrue. Personally i thought he was very well backed financially and made a right pigs ear of it and lumbered us with some right high earning shite that we are still trying to get rid off...James Wallace...Coutts...Higdon...McEverley..

As im tired of all things Blades tonight (and just tired of em full stop i suppose at the moment) perhaps we can just agree to disagree on this one. You thought he was a good manager for us...fair enough. I thought he was a right fuk up for us.

Oops..forgot about some of those top players that top man Clough brought in. Yep he was some manager that lad at the Lane.
