So to recap, you know someone who knows a parent of one of the young players at the Lane and that person believes McCabe has hated Clough for a long time. However, you have no idea how that person formed that belief.

Never even said I was convinced by the info only that on hearing it I thought it sounded as though could have some truth to it so thought I'd pass it on. If it's BS then so be it. If everyone only posted absolute fact and nothing that could be BS there would be very few posts on here.

In your defence I heard the same from a similar source who also told me quite a few days before it became common knowledge that Baxter had failed a drugs test. He also said that McCABE had fallen out with Nigel and that was why Mr McCabe didn't attend the Players awards evening.

yes! you cannot simply "buy success" as has been quite obvious!

its this "we deserve to be" that has led to us thinking we have a god given right to be higher and outscore everyone.... unfortunatley until fans realise we are a league 1 team with league 1 resources (even the fact we have 5-10k higher attendences) only gives us an extra £2m a season... and other teams off field activities soon eat in to this (Bristol actually earned more money than us despite their low attendance!)

so our resources arent as bountiful as people seem to think... and then we are as limited as everyone else with the SCMP...

tried "myth busting" many a time.... it results in the thread dying a death (hard to argue against cold hard facts.... haha)

but one I do like is that Bristol City's turnover (9.9m down from 11.8m in the previous year) was about a million more than ours (8.9m) in the last published accounts (meaning that in terms of SCMP they could afford about 12k a week more in their budget!) although MK Dons (5.3m) were significantly lower turnover to us (3.6m less) with Preston similar to MK Dons in terms of turnover,

Chesterfields turnover btw was 6.34m

Two games in hand, but a poor goal difference which was weakening by the game. The goals had dried up completely, thanks to the sale of Blackman in January.

His sacking was a desperate gamble by the board hoping for a new manager bounce. If they'd appointed someone from outside the club it just might have worked. Instead they went for the cheap option, and it backfired. Personally i think the result would have been much the same had Wilson stayed.

That said, in hindsight i think we should have stuck by him, given the investment in the club which was a few months in to the future.

Not claiming ITK or anything but was told by someone who claims to be on good terms with parent of one of the youngsters around first team that McCabe has hated Clough for a while (didn't say why/when started). Say's he's worried that Morgan will be offered job as all the players really like him (I told him I couldn't see that happening). Could be total BS but could also give a hint into why Clough was shown the door.

Like I said not saying ITK or anything just what been told (donning tin hat as I type).

Whatever the reason , ALL the back room staff have gone with Clough , which will need replacing which is not a two minute job. I will be glad when all this is resolved , as anything with the blades usually goes from bad to worst .

The decision has been made , where the board may have thought ( yet again ) , managers would walk over broken glass / hot coals , to manage the blades . This is not the case and never has been.

Don't get into a frenzy with what the bookies are saying . When it comes to SUFC , they have much idea , of whats happening , as us fans .

The mad world of SUFC , - Job to Keith Curle , because he wore a red and white shirt , lives in Sheffield or Clough gets his job back , just a little misunderstanding.

Especially us blades , we have yet again , got to be careful , for what we wish for.

This isn't an attack on you per se Fuzzybear but in all seriousness, posts like this do a significant amount of damage - it's the sort of bollocks that people read, take as gospel and it creates further distance between the boardroom and terraces.

Just have a think about what your typing and whether you can categorically, hand on heart, verify its truth because if you can't then it's not whistle blowing, it's poisonous tittle tattle.
