The owner is the problem, not the manager.

We have basically got rid of one with no money for one with even less. This club is a complete basket case.

Are you being fucking serious? lmao. The owners job is to provide the funds for the MANAGER to get the players HE wants.

He's done that.

Was everyone up for sale last season when we finished 9th?

Ah, my bad. Lets give them all new contracts on 50 grand a week as a celebration of last season. Lets forget they've picked up 2pts from 17 games and are setting every record we don't want week in week out this season.

The owner is the problem, not the manager or players (many are not up to this level, but the finances dictate that we can't improve).

Are you for real? he's given him £100m+ to spend. The person at fault is the person signing players who aren't good enough for premier league

Wilder has recruited extremely poorly, i think he has lost his way. HRH needs to have a word as hes backed him and hes wasted 100mill and we are significantly worse.

I want to know what they do in training. Do they not work on anything technical?

Are you Mr McCabe?

I think Bash, Egan, Baldock and JOC would be the only ones I would be desperate to keep. Possibly Didzy and Osborne too. Midfield has been non-existent this year. Forwards seem to fall into the lazy or hard-working but lacking talent. I can't see this squad competing at the top of the Championship next year.

I think the fact we went from league one to the prem so fast has finally caught up with us, the wage structure is prohibiting us to sign better quality players, and we have an owner who seems too skint to pay big money wages, as long as this is at the club we won’t improve.

For the money he cost McBurnie is the worse player I have ever seen in a Blades shirt!
Ramsdale is young, but fuck....
Same with Brewster.

As for the rest playing tonight, they were never good enough for the EPL and never gave been, despite what was achieved last season!

This current squad will struggle in the Championship next season and that's currently a terrible league!

Not on wages he hasn't.
Listen, I agree that knownowt and the like just wear the the badge, but reality is if this current owner stays, we may as well just get established in the champs (because that all he as got the money to support). times will change soon, as many fans on here said on here before this season started, just rose tinted again couldn't see it.

Anyhow, upward and forward, the current owner seems to be building a portfolio of teams, with hopefully the idea that he can sell the business model to a prem type owner?

Thought we’d turned the corner against Man U and Brighton.........Sadly not.
But at least it was another close defeat.👍

Wages, not £20-£25k per week, the prem players are earning between £40-£350k per week, we don't pay that, so this owner may as well just sell the club to someone who can.

I am as fed up as anyone, but that's an absurd statement. Basket case refers to a club who is on the verge of going out of business, or who can't pay their players, amongst other things.

Football clubs go far beyond what happens on the pitch.
