Just been told by Mrs. Agana that there's talk of a £1m move to Fenebache for CKR and a move to Hull for Lucky. Don't know how true it is or even the source but thought I'd post it anyway.

Neither seem too realistic - especially if Lucky has been offered a deal with us and talk of losing 2 main CBs in Jags and Davis is rife too.

both have been in the papers in recent days...

I'd say CKR is worth more and will be very useful next year though... As for lucky... we are well stocked in his position, but he was great last year so could be useful to have around.

I'm so out of touch recently, not read a paper or watched SSN for weeks, not spent much time on here. :(

CKR will be extremely handy in the Championship next season, he's the Paul Ifill type of player but better and we all know how well Ifill did for us despite the constant criticism for the odd mistake here, there and sometimes looking like he couldn't be arsed.

Both can go for me.

As said, CKR like Ifill gets alot of stick.

The difference being, Ifill didnt deserve it and played a massive part in us going up, CKR just doesnt have any end product what-so-ever.

oh he does cant you see it sharpy?

falling flat on his arse!

id take a million for him anyday!

I think CKR will be key next year!

Great skill if he works on that final ball he will be a great player!

Turkish side Besiktas have made an offer to sign Sheffield United forward Colin Kazim-Richards (The Guardian).

Looks like Besiktas want Kazim.

I dont think CKR will go to turkey does he even speak the lingo?,think he will stay here, andif he works on that final ball thats can only be a good thing.

I like CKR, for his arrogance if nothing else, but I just feel he falls between two stools and unless he improves his finishing, and/or final ball, I can see him leaving.

is it £2million someone has put a bid in for CKR??

id take there hands off!!!

Nope, only fee i've seen mentioned was a random £1mill. I wouldn't sell him for that. With the right coaching/leadership, he has the potential to be immense.

potential... could go either way... risk it and keep with him? or sell him for a nice profit?

he needs to learn to stay on his feet, play the simple ball, put more crosses in. for a million id take it, he has potential but in my eyes alot of work to do for perfection.

He's shown on quite a few occasions that he can though, plus contrary to popular belief he's willing to put in the work and track back when not on the ball/attacking.

Who else could you get with his speed, ball control, arrogance and youth for £1mill and the lowish wages he's on?

CKR has shown (albeit in moments) he can cut it in the prem. We are a league lower next season, and I have no doubt in my mind he will be an integral part of what we are trying to achieve.

he might play better in the champ... but for £2million i would have it.

tonge was better than him at that age, and so too a few other players we had at the lane.

yeah hes shown it on a few occasions that he can do it. but he needs work to do it all the time, to stay on his feet, to lay a simple ball off for a 1-2 and cross it first time.

out of CKR and squinny... who would everyone rather have?
personally id have squinny.

i wasnt on about getting rid... just wondering who would you pick in front of the other

They are both different players really, and CKR is more versatile. But SQuinny has more potential if you ask me.

say tonge was on one wing and it was between them for the other... id start with squinny all the time, then bring CKR on late rin the game

CKR has gone to Fenebache for 1.2 mill. i think thats a good deal any 1 eles with me ?

Blades hopeful over duo

Friday Jun 29 2007 12:12

Sheffield United remain hopeful of agreeing new contracts with veteran pair Keith Gillespie and Chris Lucketti.

Blades boss Bryan Robson is keen to retain the soon to be out-of-contract pair for next season and has made offers to both the former Manchester United and Newcastle United winger plus the experienced defender.

"We had a verbal confirmation from Keith's agent that he'll be signing. It's made up, waiting for him to sign, but he's on holiday," revealed chairman Terry Robinson.

Meanwhile, on 35-year-old Lucketti's future, he added: "Chris is on his holidays and is back on Monday or Tuesday, I think. Then we'll know fully what his decision is.

"Chris is at an age where other clubs are looking at him and giving him extended contracts.

"At this stage, we've made Chris an offer and it's for him to decide whether to take it up."

I hope they both sign they could be useful in the CCC i think.

Then again i think we could easily replace them if they were to go.

i thought lucketti was useful in the premiership too.
