Outgoing? Chris Wilder

Hardly scientific or proof of anything, but one of the guys I'm in a WhatsApp group with has it on good authority that he's already gone....

Take it with a pinch of salt, but going to be an interesting few weeks nonetheless!

love it Roger. Viva progression.

Why are we still sitting in limbo over this? I'm in the camp that wants to see a change, but more than anything else, I just want us to know what the fuck is happening.

There is always pissing and moaning about United dawdling in transfer windows. Well, we don't even know yet who is going to be manager next season.

If he's gone already, why not just fucking say so? We can move on, focus on what's next, and anticipate disappointment with a different gaffer in charge (as is the Blades way).

Duck philosophy. Not a lot happening on the surface but under the water ….

Edit: for the avoidance of doubt they are not Nigel Adkins geese

Why is the club in limbo, because a few foot-stampers have decided?

Our current manager is still our current manager. He has a contract until 2029. He was laat seen at the Paul Heaton concert and is probably taking a well-earned break before pre-season starts.

You may as well demand to know what the fuck is happening with the England team. (The answer would be Thomas Tuchel is the manager and they're playing Andorra on Saturday)

I've heard it'll be done, one way or the other, by next week

Stop using facts to get in the way of their ranting 😄
My recollection is that we didn't get Brewster till well after the season started ....
But even if that's wrong , its irrelevant anyway , coz it was obvious from his condition that if he ever recovered enough to play (which was in doubt at the time) he was never going to be quickly (if ever) back to the standards which put him on the cusp of an England call-up.
Blind stupidity by Wilder (and the owner) to run the transfer policy on a faint hope of JoC making a recovery either quickly enough or at all , before relegation was nailed on

And Brewster is still a weight on Wilders shoulders. Loved his goal at Hillsborough but still doesn't justify that outlay
Klopp played Wilder on that one
Wilder absolutely played himself on that one. Can’t blame Klopp for it, he was doing his best for his club & was lucky enough to come across a mug.

Totally and utterly shocked that this thread is only 15 pages, you do realise chris is way more important than dan burn etc.

FWIW I think he will stay, although personally I would prefer a fresh start.

The only doubt about the above I have is that the owners could have backed CW in their recent statement with something like, "we are totally behind the Management and Players to push forward next season" but they didn't....

Probably because it's not happened, but as with most club things, why do they need to tell the fans anything at this stage?
They may want to have his replacement lined up for a quick follow up announcement, they may still be talking compensation, they may be sorting out the backroom team and deciding on a complete restructure with DOFs etc.

So long as they know, and the manager knows I don't see what difference it makes. Why do fans need to know, aside from your entitlement?

i dont understand us wanting to keep brewster at the lane hes had enough chances and giving him another year just prolonges the agony
12 points at least from his direct involvement, was playing well in Play-off before being taken off.

If he was at another club we'd be looking at him on a free.
