And that's exactly why I don't think it's worth it anymore. Any of it. The match, the build up, the songs, getting home, this forum. It's just not worth it.
Chin up. We are SUFC it’s just the way it is. We’ve had a pretty good few seasons to be fair. It was never going to be easy today. Chris will do well to stave off relegation but he’s deffo right man to do it. Good times will return don’t get too down old bean. Nothing in life is easy and the Blades mirror that perfectly.

Just the way it fucking is!! He can't win an important game the last few times he's been here. So nowts going to change pal.this sides got relegation wrote allover them ffs!

spineless "supporter " ?

Yep, as I said, Spineless fans. We go round and round in circles never really getting anywhere. Then add CW to the mix and most continue to go round in circles only wearing rose tinted blindfolds.

Sleepwalking our way to L1 for Wilder to leave us where he started.

Careful what you wish for.

What is it specifically that us fans do to go round in circles?

Obvious isn't it?

The 3rd coming of Wilder clearly demonstrates that the vast majority are happy to follow like sheep, (or should that be labs to the slaughter?) as long as we are being bladey blades.

I sincerely hope i am proved wrong but we have to break this pathetic cycle at some point and start progressing as a club. Yes Selles was a mistake but we are a dinosaur of a club with a dinosaur manager and, (mostly) dinosaur fans.

We need to wake the fuck up. Like I said, we are sleeping walking to L1.

Wilder will get us back to winning ways.

He knows how to motivate and he knows how to get players to perform as a group.

Might be a few games till we see a big turnaround.

He can see through the lazy and the fake injury merchants.

How many times has he rebuilt our squad over his time here?

Even last season he kept us winning whilst having to throw unproven youngsters into the side before signings were brought in.

We need to believe in him and back him and he will succeed.

16th August 2016 Sheffield United 0 v 3 Southend United

Anyone remember this game.

I remember a certain Jack O'Connell losing possession on halfway ish and Sarfend breaking away to get the 3rd goal.

Then everything changed.

What followed was the biggest and most important turnaround and complete rebuild, not only of the playing squad, but of the whole club, in recent history and led to our most successful rise up the divisions for decades.

im confident kop legend my hero tufty will get us blades winning,he will get a tune out of our talented but deflated squad he will fire them up to WIN..utb..

Putting all arguments for and against Wilder, Sellés etc to one side, people need to remember that whilst every other club in the Championship were putting together and preparing them for the new season, our owners sold the spine of last seasons team without replacing them for the start of the new season, with disastrous results.
Before yesterday's match Godfrey had played 3 games, Tanganga 2 and McGuiness and Matos 1 apiece. So out of our 6 defensive players, only Peck and Burrows had played a significant amount of games together. Add to that Ogbene making his debut and you have half the outfield players having little experience of playing together. This against a well organised Charlton team who were promoted last season and came with a good game plan.
I'm not making excuses for the poor performance. I thought we lacked energy, drive and leadership, but this is a new rebuild and it will probably be another 2 or 3 games before a fair judgement can be made.

Cheeky chappy, positive Chrisseh overestimated how his mere presence would change things.

Apparently not. Last season's bottle jobs and lacking fitness.

Rinse & repeat.
NO he didn't. After only a few days with the last day of the transfer window too many freebies in the squad he realised he has a massive job on his hands.
Selles killed the confidence of the players from last season, excellent players like Anel & Vini have left & courtesy of the board we have rubbish players who were left on the shelf at the end of the transfer window. So we signed them FFS.
