Hearing some of his interviews recently, he's clearly aware of what's being said by fans, whether it's on this forum or twatter. He made some remarks about the sale of Evans and the subsequent purchase of Norwood, and the first two losses, ie people writing him off. I think we should know now not to question his judgement. He's not perfect and has made some mistakes, but what he does is address them as soon as he possibly can and moves on.

I think he admitted that Hussey was a mistake and maybe Leonard and Evans were, but perhaps they were just what was available at the time within the resources of the club.

Good post, and I'd like to add to your final thought, perhaps certain players just don't fulfil their promise. Maybe, with the best will in the world, some players simply aren't right for this club. Hitting the ground running is vital, and for some players who need time, maybe that's something we can't allow them. No doubt Len and Evans will do well throughout their career, unfortunately it won't be at United.
