Chris......Time to go.....

Its not just about keeping us up now.

Its about planning for next season. & trying to not do a Derby.

Imagine what a teams confidence would be like having finished with the lowest points ever in a season or heaven forbid without a W all season.

You dont suddenly bounce back from that.
Sunderland 2006 had the lowest points total in 2006, they won the league the year after.

So weird when people say ‘pigs’ for someone having an opinion I’d persist with Wilder but losing patience every game totally get why people would say it at the minute though
It happens to every team in the world. If Liverpool was sat bottom no win in how many games I think there fans would want him to go..he turns it around and he's a god again..lol fans can be bastards at times 😂😂

Time for you to go.... But wIth your head held high.

You've done your best & achieved unbelieveable things with us. But these last few months have been a awful & you should shoulder some of the blame for this.

You've completely changed from the first game in the EPL when every game was a chance for us to take the game to the opposition. And we can see how much your hurting.
Ffs Blades get real remember we’re our king Chris has fetched us from 90% of plastic idiots on here won’t remember Carlisle away Bottom of league Pompey away 3-0 After 20 mins at the min it hurts like fuck but remember we are premier league And remember who took us there He’s one of our own And all the idiots saying he has to go give your head a wobble

All because he has done well previously doesnt mean he is doing well now. This season has been abysmal so far and there are no signs things will improve. It doesnt matter if he is a Blade, it about his performance this season as manager and coach. Wilder being a Blade doesnt exempt him from criticism or from questioning whether he should be sacked. The malaise in the team is obvious and at the moment Wilder has not been able to stop this. If it continues we will struggle to finish mid table in the Championship.Wilder's primary objective is to finish 4th bottom this season. It looks like he will fail.
I think Wilder should now leave as we need a fresh start. Based on this you think I am a plastic ( whatever that means). I am more concerned about the well being and future of our football club. If fans were in the ground now it would be hostile towards Wilder and possibly fighting between fans as we have seen in the past. The unity Wilder brought us is wearing thin.
Take a step back and look at the team performances this season. Any other manager that isnt Wilder would have been sacked by now irrespective of how his previous seasons had gone.

Playing Devil’s advocate, but if Wilder should stay, what do people think will improve and when?
Any improvement surely can only start once Wilder admits, even implies, that he’s doing something wrong? There’s a gapping black hole in the middle of the gambit of excuses he’s trotted out in the last 20 games...

As much as it hurts atm I’ve been saying he has to go but deep down I know he’s the only man that can take us back to the prem remember what happened last time we went down and sacked Warnock Chris wilder is SUFC through n through he will put that paper back on the wall

Sounds exactly like the sort of thing a Wednesday fan would say.
I've outed you.............PIG!

😜

I'm curly-tailed, and I don't believe Wilder should be sacked. And that's not because he played and supports the club, because that doesn't excuse him from criticism. United were always close to the edge, for a number of reasons, and that's not down to Wilder. Wilder's played a variety of different ways since he came to the club, depending upon the quality of his players relative to those of his opponents, and the level the club has played at. It's unrealistic to play in the Third the same as you would play in the PL. In the Third United had better players than most of their opponents, now most of their opponents have got better players than them. United needed big investment last summer, and a wage structure which could entice better-quality players. United have been on the crest of a wave since Wilder arrived at the club, and a team spirit and confidence to match. The problem is that those factors are not constant, and can rapidly vanish after a poor start. IMO sacking Wilder wouldn't save the club from relegation, and then you've lost the experience he has gained which will stand the Blades in good stead the next time they are promoted. I don't think that would take long with Wilder still in situ.

I was hoping I'd wake up to news that he'd done the honourable thing and resigned but it's obvious he's hanging on for the sack and his inevitable large payoff.

Do you think there is a different manager that would save us from the drop?
I think there could be a few but we won't find out unless we try, we must be the only club in Premier League history to just give up and put up with the embarrassing shitshow. Everyone just assumes we'll come straight back up, history tells you that more often than not, that isn't the case.

So after 4 amazing seasons beyond our wildest dreams. We just get rid after 6 months.

Show some bottle FFS.

Name me a manager that we could hire with a track record as good as Chris Wilders?

Name me a manager who could take a bunch of League One Bosmans to the cusp of qualification to the UEFA cup.

Don't quite agree with your detail but even accepting it, it's the past. The present is W0 D2 L14 and a place in the record books, he now deserves the sack regardless of previous campaigns

Swansea v Reading proves you talk nonsense that we’ll be lucky to finish mid table in the championship.

Unfortunately I've reluctantly now come to the same conclusion. Playing the same system over and over again, and gettting 2 points with it. Bogle not featuring in 2 games after looking our best player and actually scoring. I've lost it with him
Fair comment

So what, think your self bloody lucky that we’re in the Premier League cos no other manager would have got us here with this squad.

If Wilder had incrementally improved after taking over in League One 4 years ago and we'd be now up there challenging in the Championship playoffs I doubt these conversations would even be happening.

He's spoilt you lot beyond your wildest imaginations and you're acting like a bunch of petulant brats now the chips are down.

I think CW will walk if he isn't backed in this window as failure to recruit gives us no chance to at least give it a go ... gain some self respect .... hope not but who knows?

But we’re not in the champ we’re in the prem and if the club wants to keep raking the money in something needs to change...

We are going down. You do understand that don't you.

Chris Wilder is a miracle worker and he's not just worked miracles at Sheffield United. It's a miracle he even got us here and unless you know of another miracle worker then there's no point changing manager

This squad of players is barely even lower end Championship quality and now with injuries and a loss of form/confidence they are getting found out. There's not much any other manager is going to do about that.

And avoid financial armagedon because parachute payments don't necessarily protect you from it.

Miricle worker, don't make me laugh, we've just made the record books for all the wrong reasons

Alright pal you're correct. Sack him, sack the lot of them

This team should be Champions League challenging

Wilder only took us from League One purgatory to the brink of Europe on a limited budget in 4 seasons. Any clown could have done that. Bring back Adkins or Weir or Adams, they could have done it, all the 24 managers in the Championship could have done it.

Let's jerk the old knee, sacky sacky sack. It's the Sheffield United way. Stunningly successful as well, we've won how many trophies and spent how many seasons in the top division. It always works cos we're Unitedites and can't remember owt beyond the last month.

If we are at all going to challenge for promotion straight away we sure as hell need to start preparing now. Short term loans and playing the same shitty fucking patterns is not going to prep us in anyway whatsoever. This bounce back isnt going to happen overnight.
