He's taken a bit of stick in some games, but I thought he was outstanding today.

Competitive and winning balls all over the pitch, but also today he was using the ball well when he'd won it, a bit like his performance against Southampton. MOTM for me, let's hope he can keep it up and he'll get his 'YaYa Bash' title back.

Had a good game today. Real key player in a game like that, we're fortunate that he was fit to play.

He also has more ability than he's given credit for.

Only problem for me is on the ball he's poor, looks lost when he gets the ball at his feet especially when going forward. Had a good game though today, solid defensively

Defo MOM for me today.

There is a guy at the back of the SS who calls him Zinedine ;)

Credit where it's due he was excellent for us today, really competitive in the middle.

Him and Coutts seem to have struck up a decent partnership as well.

Yes he did play well today, always wanted the ball, but Moore was MOTM by a country mile UTB

Stop jumping on the Basham band wagon.

Only joking he's been excellent the last 3 games I have seen him play(I didn't go to Wimbledon) MOM for me today closely followed my Moore and EEL.

Looking more confident on the ball these days too. Thought he had a fine game today, very aggressive and positive.

To be honest, I don't think he was poor on the ball today, which is why I thought I'd mention his performance. Hopefully he can build on it and keep it up.

Agree with that Gray, yes he's mastered the 5 yard pass to a red and white shirt (well some of the time) and is probably one of the first names on the team sheet right now. Now if he can only learn to shoot we will have a player!!!

Just wish him and Coutts would shoot when the opportunity presents itself. It's the only issue I have with either of their current form.
I thought Coutts looked a little tired at times today. Can't think why.

I've been banging on about our crap keepers so long that I can't believe I've not given it to Moore as well.

Fine margins either way, and all abbaaht options mate.

He can be a tricky handful and was today. Needs just an outlet otherwise he does stick a bit. He is one who can calm things down a little though and if the running outlet comes it works really well for him.

ahhh...to be fair Coutts got in the box in injury time and his GOAL BOUND shot was deflected over by a defender

After he had that shot the kop broke into the first ever Cooooots chant , if that doesn't encourage him I don't know what will.
He had an opportunity before that but seems to get a mental block when he gets to the box.

I've criticised both Basham and Coutts more than a few times. Both need to produce the kind of display from today on a consistent basis, but for today I'm more than happy to be wrong about them. Still expect Coutts to give way to Fleck in time, but if Basham keeps up that level then I wouldn't be looking for a replacement in January like I said earlier this week. Massive credit to them and the rest of the team today.

When Coutts was on the right corner of the box he should've shot but instead tried to play someone in on the left. That's the sort of position he should get goals from, he's more than capable of making half a yard and striking it on target.

I was up on my feet driving him forward, it seemed to open up for him just to stroke it into the bottom corner. Yes, it's got to be a mental thing, maybe if he can score one more will follow, but he needs to get higher up the pitch more anyway IMO. I think he sits too deep and needs to try and be on the end now and again.

I actually thought that's the worst game hes had this season , second half anyway when we changed tactics. The first half formation suits us and him better ,and I think Fleck can get in there too and make us better. I know we will be susceptible down the flanks and that's why he changed it today ,but Peterboro are a good team ,against lesser teams we will flourish if we play 3-5-2. Also is there a player you would want more than Coutts to keep the ball in the corner for the last 5 ?

Basham's first half performance today was magnificent. Would have been MOM if he'd carried it on into second half. MOM for me was a toss-up between Moore and Done.
Coutts? Shooooooooooooooot!

He was really blowing at the end but so were a few others, lot of hard grafting out there today. Never been a Basham fan but he is slowly winning me around, just wish he'd score a few more. Moore was outstanding today but Bash was MOM for me.

If Basham can be MoM , it explains why DBs report says that we put in huge effort but lack quality.

Yep! Agree.

Late in the game Coutts had a shot and but for a deflection it was on its way in. He played great today and I just hope he has the confidence to go for goal more often. He's a class player ( as I said on here some weeks ago when he wasn't even in the starting 11).

Him and Freeman need to stay. Key players for us.

Coutts still yet to score for us, surely he'll get at least one this season if he continues to play
