Having been unfortunate enough to spend time there, you're welcome to Shenzhen.

I'd take Xian if Chinese cities are up for grabs.

The first time I went into China from Hong Kong 20 years ago, Shenzen was the border crossing but not much else. Now it's a city of 10 million people or more.

I got caught in China in the ash cloud in 2010 and went to Xian to pass a few days and the terracotta army was pretty special.

My first time in China was in 1996 and it was an eye opener for sure!

Yeah. Nothing close, but they have been sounded out by McCabe for certain.

I am sure I read that a British delegation are going to China soon, including people from Scarborough Holdings and SUFC? I totally get that Scarborough Holdings would be there, not sure why SUFC would be?

As we have said on this, and other threads, the Chinese businessman working with McCabe is seriously rich, would be buy into the club?

Scuse my ignorance HCDM. but where is the link between you guys working in the legal industry and knowing about McCabe sounding out of the Chinese about getting involved in the football club?

These kind of people need all sorts of legal services for an array of things. Loose lips and all that.

Are we talking about the Chinese bloke who made the charity donations not so long ago? Wang Chunming?

I've heard a rumour that, once the deal goes through, a copy of this will be handed out to each & every Blade -

Memorisation will be compulsory! Specially trained stewards will be carrying out tests on entry through the turnstiles - penalties for failure to memorise will be severe & merciless (up to & including banishment to the outer reaches of S6)!

Will all stewards still be going to "phase 5" under the new regime?

One of the youth sides played out in China a few months ago. It wouldn't surprise me if McCabe is looking for Chinese money. Who can blame him. Or maybe he's just 'using' the club for PR with businessmen.

yes mate, not sure of the name but it was the bloke who wrote out a lot of cheques for 10 grand each, to various charities connected to SUFC
