After the most excellent adventure last night on the back of a decent point at Dale we have the luxury of a free weekend. Most clubs take the opportunity to hit up La Manga,or if you're Man Yoo a squillion dollar game against Qatar Snotrags in the desert or simillar.
Surely the very least Kay Mac can stretch too is a couple of nights B and B or a few 6 birth statics on the coast for our weary warriors? Then we can return refreshed and reinvigorated for the final push after a relaxing weekend int club doing Karaoke,Bingo,a dew light ales and a threes up. Well maybe not the last one.
Surely it's the least the lads deserve?
Where would you pack them off to?

I'd have sent last seasons squad there (bar Billy) even in the middle of the Tet Offensive.

I'd have the lads runnine up hill and down dale on Saturday. Screw time off and little holidays for em. They've done well but achieved nowt yet. If/when they go up, then and only then do they all deserve a week in a caravan at Costa del Cleethorpes. OK then if they go up as champion's I think we could send em to somewhere nice like the Greek Islands for a week. Any of the squad who we want to let go, we can simply get them to have a go at sponge diving or something and forget to tell em about the possibility of the bends. Money saved on paying off contracts for those we want to move on would pay for the trip. Everyone's a winner.

Back to the Premier inn Freshen up, back out into Cleethorpes for a few beers (one bar did 2 pints of Amstel for £2.50 before 9pm happy days). Then a curry to finish of the night.

I am easily pleased.

I would have them following a training and conditioning programme for the next seven days that is designed to get them in the optimum condition for the Swindon match next week. If Wilder decides that they could do with a couple of days break that is fine with me, but nothing is won yet. We still have 10 games left to play, we are now on the home straight and we need to stay professional, keep our eye on the ball and remain as strong as we have been until we have hopefully got the League One Champions Trophy in our hands.

Then once that happens they all deserve to have a few weeks off, go out and get absolutely hammered, disappear of to Las Vegas, Marbella or on a Narrowboat holiday on the Norfolk Broads, or do whatever else take their fancy. It will have been earned the hard way.
