Early kick off on Saturday remember!

Time for some Southern fancy dans to pay a visit to Bramall Lane. Who do you think would be most effective in the Blades squad to nick a result against the reigning Premiership Champions? Will Warnock wear those ridiculous shorts when standing on the touchline with Heat magazine's 6th Most Sexy man in the UK?

On-topic discussion of the Blades v. Chelsea :)

I think this IS one of those matches we should just enjoy no matter what happens. Just look at our neighbours and where they are at.

But.....

If we can play like a cup tie and cause an upset how good would that be for confidence and us fans!

Blades to win 2-0.

:D :D :D

what time is the kick off? 12:15, 12:45 or 1:30?

I'm going for a 1-1 draw, Webber to finally score, but then Drogba pulls off one of his specials and gets Davis sent off again and fat Lampard converts the penalty.

not sure on score, dad says to field this team:

Kenny
Bromby Jagz Davis(morgz if sus) Stretch
Monty Leggy
Keef Quinn Webber
Hulse

This lets monty and leggy get stuck into lampard and ballack and quinn get into makalaley. tone would be too lightweight for this game.

same team for me accept webber for ckr. i think we could nik a draw agenst em. if we manage to score agenst i will be happy. we shud enjoy this no matter of the score but it dnt want to get to silly scores

Someone on FH said this last night and I reckon it's not a bad one.

We're not expected to get jack from this so let's take the game to them and screw the consequences!!

Kenny
Bromby Jags Davis Stretch
Keef Leggy Quinn/Tonge
Webber Kabba
Hulse

I'd be tempted to say the same...

We need to start converting good play into goals and what a confidence boost it would be to do it against a team like Chelsea.

We're at home, good crowd, everyone fit. Let's go for it :)

Webber in for CKR the only change, unless someone performs out of his skin tonight - personally i would like to see Benett replace Kenny.

i wager that the Blades will pick up a point on saturday, have just got a nice feeling:) and it would be nice to go to work on saturday night without all the scousers on my back for having lost again lol

Whenever I see the Sky Sports Extra advert with SHEFFIELD UNITED Vs CHELSEA in massive letters, my sphincter throbs with childish worry. In a good way, though.

Whenever I see 12.45 kick-off times, my liver gets fearful of the all-day lagerathon that will ensue roughly fifteen minutes after th final whistle. Either the Barrel then up Woodseats, or will try and squeeze in the Lion. It's usually jam-packed solid though.

After? After?

Golden Lion opens roughly 2 and three quarter hours before kick off with time to meet before opening with some cans :D

B4E better watch himself... he might go running into walla again by the time we're finished.

I had plenty of reason to get that pissed at the Palace game, I didn't get drunk at the Liverpool game though when it opened at 10. :)

That is what I like to hear Mr Gezmon :D

wow i'm sooo very excired, my mate just called me and has got a spare ticket. My exile will soon be over, going to get well pissed. Also the local amazing band little man tate are playing my uni that night too. Canny get a newcastle ticket though, i'm gutted, may still go but in the home end. Won't be the same though!

I'm dropping Mrs Agana off to catch the coach down to Wolves at about 11 so think I'll come along to the Lion for a couple of pre-match shandys (shandies?).

I have a feeling that Monty will start against Chelski - perhaps in place of leggy.

Well he should certainly be in contention if we can count that performance the other night.

We need someone who's going to get in and around Chelsea's midfield and annoy the hell out of them :)

still 100 tickets left which is quite surprising and there restricted view
