When we play the friendly with Chengdu it looks like they will be bringing some supporters with them as a gift for their support of the club.

From the Chengdu official site.

The season of 2005-06 China Jia a League had finished, Chengdu Blades on fourth position of the league table, comparing with the team performance of last season, and Blades have made very positive improvement so far.

Every Blades’ fan plays the key role in this season, the team couldn’t make that achievement without their support.

To thanks to the fans, Blades Fans General Meeting took place on this Sunday that is the first fans meeting since Sheffield United FC has took over the club.

As a new football club in ChengDu, Blades have built up two policies to development the club’s fan base, first : try to keep the old fans they were support the original club before the Blades; second: new fans developing

The club has paid a lot of attention to look after their fans, to listening to them, and try to make them happy in any possible way.

Meanwhile, the Blades have organized the interactive events to fans to keep close with fans as much as the club could , all hard work have been paid back at the end of the season. The fan base of Blades have been increased very quickly through the whole season, and the Blades expect more fans will be join in next season.

As the special gifts to the fans the Blades will offer the unique opportunity to them, some of lucky fans will get chance to have a trip to UK, they will visit Sheffield United FC, and have chance to see the super star face to face.

From the look of this squad list it appears that Chengdu play an innovative two-two-seven formation, employing the "goalie wag" system much used in schoolyard football in England.:D

For some reason they only put up players who have scored for each team???
