Ched....

He's been unlucky so far not to have a goal. Fleck should have played him in against Derby? (Flecks only tarnish this season). and he nearly had one at Sunderland. His power and pace are getting up to this level now and My God did you see how high he got when challenging in the centre last night? I would love to see him fully fit. I think management are playing this well. Getting him up to pace whilst he waits for the op then it should be less recovery time after the op?

One of the big Wolves centre halves tried pushing him about after Ched harried the ball in the corner near the Kop last night. Tried to rough him up a bit. As if that would intimidate him in the slightest after everything the lad has been through.

What? Danny "I can only hit the post" Cadamateri? Give over. Evans has scored more goals than Danny did in his entire career and thats despite having 2 or so years banged up.

I think an unfit Evans looks more likely to get a goal than Danny ever did.

Has any player hit the post as much as Cadamateri. Every effort he had seemed to hit the damn upright.

He must hold the record for hitting the post or the crossbar more than any other footballer. I thought at the time he was just unlucky but once you take into account his career before and after us then he really was just rather shit.

I see people say he spent a long time out of the game so needs time to get back. He's been in the game since last summer. He won't be back from his op until November. He'd have to get past Clarke, Sharp, Brooks, Lavery, Hanson, Donaldson.

He won't get much game time to get match fit. Is it even possible to still do one month loans in january?

A bizarre signing that i still cannot make sense of. Luckily its not slowing us down much!!

Get behind the team , everybody cant hit form at the time so when someone's struggling encourage them , don't doubt them , look where we are , come on Ched get ur injury sorted and come back roaring !

He's got his op on Tuesday

Yes I was told this as well, Forest will be his last bench game for a while, they expect Billy and Don to be fully fit after the International break.

That's him... you watched him too!

It’s all about perspective.

He did very little when he came on
BUT he worked his socks off chasing the ball and closing down their defenders.
I appreciate really hard work, so he deserves credit for that.

Ched will be a fine player again for us, once he's fully fit. Only my opinion.

Needs to be 100pc fit though...strangely enough like most players need to be. Another Wilder masterstroke in the pipeline this one.

What a bastard ,Wolves coming back and hammering us when he came on. For fuck sake lets find something anything to moan about eh ? If its not Ched then its not tying shoe laces properly :(

Ched will come good after op. You heard it here first!!;)

The words "come good" following Evans name are perhaps unfortunate. But when? Next season? Operation in October. Recuperate to end of November. Training to fitness maybe end of December. Ready to start January 2018. But then it is "he's not match fit" he's missed so much of the season". "He needs to get up to speed" and the usual " you wait, he'll rip this league a new one when he is fit". When one thing goes wrong at his age, then invariably something else follows especially after such a long lay off. I look forward to him coming good as we all do, but it is increasingly unlikely as it was IMHO from the start.

Stuart scullion used to hit the cross bar on a regular basis and tony field used to hit the floor on a regular basis, never seen a bloke fall over so much.

I've never known a manager make the kind of positive substitutions that Wilder makes.

Yeah i agree, every time he seems to nail it, although as i said midweek, Duffy got him out of jail as the Pigs equaliser came down the right where Wright was and just 2 mins after he came off. Duffy, the man that replaced him then scoring.
