At the time, I did wonder if the pair of them were well advised to disclose what happened in that hotel room if she couldn't remember. I mean that from a judicial stand point not a moral one.
Evans pursued Sheffield United, who employed him at the time he was arrested, for lost wages but the maximum amount a person who is wrongfully convicted can claim is capped at £500,000.
Can we sue Bryan Robson and Co for being shit and managing?
He might be back in Jan as we've got a recall clause. Depending on injuries & being unable to get anyone else in we might be glad to have Ched back. That's your choice, but whilst he's on loan from us he's a Blader unlike yourself. So apart from this comment, I'll ignore you. UTB
Ched didn't try to sue us. I think he was so relieved to be correctly found not guilty at the retrial he forgot about all the wages he had lost. Now he has remembered & if he can claim from the CPS prosecution lawyers, & his initial lawyers for not questioning it ... for their wrong interpretation of what means yes ..... good luck to him. If they don't even understand their own new laws what chance has anyone got.£500k maximum is for miscarriage of justice compensation claims, from the taxpayer rather than a private business
There's a board member on here uses the name Blader.PS. WTF is a Blader? half a Bladder or summat?
Really? I thought that was James Shield for some reason I can't now remember :OThere's a board member on here uses the name Blader.
I don’t know if he did or didn’t but Sky News reckon he did. As I understand it the £500k cap is comps from HMP but stand to be corrected as everChed didn't try to sue us. 200k and another 200k after promotion with the wage paid in full would be a good deal for us.

Understand #SAFC have asked #sufc to recall Ched Evans from his existing loan at #FTFC, in the hope of signing him. But it does appear as tho the Blackcats are after every striker at the minute.

That would be a good move for him to be fair.
Would be a great deal for both parties.
Still think Ched is top end league 1/ lower end Championship standard, I’d put him at a similar level to Clayton Donaldson.
Would have been decent back up for us
But now even our back up strikers are as good, if not better than Ched.
So even I have to admit that I can’t see him having a future back at SU, we’ve progressed to better than CE.
Wish him well if he goes to Sunderland, should do a decent job for them at league 1 level.
