This lad has the height the weight the speed the shot the aggression and determination to make a great center forward,
In training I would stick him in the box and have him practice heading the ball till he could place that pill just where he wanted it to go and then play him up front...
I like the look of Davis but he is just the same as the rest when it comes to goals, an edge of the box man, we are still not playing anyone who's good in the air, even the center halves are rubbish at heading.
The only forward we have that can do that is Higden, who I'm afraid has his draw backs in other areas of the field ...

Agreed.Everything about him says centre forward. I'm always amazed he ends up shunted out on the wing, though I know that sort of thing is fashionable.

That said, I'm still not convinced he'll make it: to my eyes he doesn't have the beating of defenders. Barged into the box yesterday and won a couple of corners, put in a good cross, but is often crowded out an loses possession.

Hope he's well coached and comes good, but very much a work in progress.

He looks like one of the few with power and determination to run at a defence. When he came on he upped the attack without doubt.

Looked very bright in the Swindon game, and was definitely able to beat his man. I recall him out pacing his marker, cutting in and being inches wide of curling it in. Don't think he had much of a chance Saturday because of the overall shite performance and probably a lack of confidence.
