I think it'll be more of a case that our "unbeaten run" was merely a stroke of luck that our opposition didn't apply more pressure. I for one cannot be proud of that run as the number of chances we created was pitiful for the calibur of squad we have at our disposal.

So, with hindsight, are you not proud of the recent away form?

Yes there are problems with creativity but, having seen the past 2 away games (couldn't make it tonight unfortunately), it looks to me like we have the formula right away from home at the moment.

Well done to the staff and players for the result tonight, no talk of turning points from me; i'm just happy to have a few days of positivity :)

Funniest moment of night,

Danny Mills thinking the 2nd goal had been disallowed and trying to take a free kick, only for the ref to go "goal"

hahahahahaha

Good performance overall, lot more commitment than has been seen of previous times. Special praise for Keef, best performance I have seen from him for over 2 years, he was running at people and taking them on, only problem I have with him at the moment is his diving..... he will end up with a name for himself and also get booked soon if he is not careful.

Monty had a fantastic game I thought, got back to basics, and Andy Reid could not shake him off. Kenny was fantastic between the posts, and it seems with Bennett playing well it might be the kick up the arse needed.

Naysmith after a dodgy start put in a good perfromance along with the rest of the defence. Naysmith's positioning still needs to improve. Killa did struggle a bit against Iwelumo, but overall he came out on top.

Beattie won everything, but at times he did seem very isolated on his own up front.

Wish I could say Tonge had a good game, it has been his best performance for a while but it still wasn't good enough. He watches the game go by him, I've never seen him sprint. He brings nothing to the side.

Overall, fantastic 3 points, and a great win. But on another day, I feel Charlton may have taken the points.

On a side note, I want a campaign set up to bomb the whole of London. We managed to get to the game with 5 minutes to spare, this was firstly because of a diversion with no follow up signs, resulting in us getting lost in North London. When asking people how to get to Charlton, responses came "wheres that?" when telling the South London a simple reply generally came "don't know". How fucking retarded are these people?

Anyways, we know now North London like the back of our hands ;) and we managed to get home for 12.40 which I think is a decent time.

No! I think last night we saw a change in form. Montgomery was as effective as he was in the Premiership because we played the same formation as we did in the Premiership. Like I said before, Tonge's inclusion, despite his recent form, helped our shape and added the creativity required. Last night's performance wasn't a continuation of our current form - quite the contrary in my opinion.

Up the Blades - Well done lads, well done the fans.

I think that you are confusing form with performances, our recent away form is excellent and so the win last night is a continuation of our form; our performances on the whole this season have been poor but it sounds as though last night was an improvement.

I agree that the only way we will start to create more chances is to include tongey, he may not be performing to the levels that we would all like but he is the only creative player that we have in the centre of midfield.

Lets hope we can get a positive result at Coventry at the weekend and keep up our strong away form.

Hmm... Form Vs Performance... An interesting point Jodman, and a fair one.

I guess, in conclusion, I can have pride in a good performance but I don't think form is an element that one could feel pride in. So still the answer is "no". :D ;)

Fair enough, i'm very proud of our away form at the moment (you may not be able to take pride in good form but i can) but admit our performances still need to improve :)

One thing we definately agree on is that yesterday was a definite imporvement on recent games!

Up the blades.

i think we can now confirm we are all extremely shocked by the 3-0 win...i had the BBC Live text...and it looked as though charlton was always gunna score

We thoroughly deserved to win in my opinion, 3-0 flattered us but nobody could deny us of the 3 points. They didn't take their chances, we did. Spot on.

It's alot easier for us away from home because there's less pressure, and also the system we play is so much more suited to away. Another win on Saturday and it's all looking good, just need to improve and start getting results at home now.

obviously, im not gunna say what i have herd from many many wednesday fans and that is ''they was lucky to score 3'' from what i have been told, we deserved it and like the dude above said, we did too. Coventry will be a tough game, no doubt
