Fulham Boss Chris Coleman has made it quite clear to the Addicks that midfielder Michael Brown is not for sale.

New boss Alan Pardew is believed to have identified Brown as the kind of player that he feels can help Charlton out of their current predicament and climb up the table and out of the relegation zone.

Brown has certainly impressed for the Cottagers this season, a fact recently noted by Coleman who described him as one of Fulham's most consistent players.

It's believed that Charlton made a £2million approach for the former Sheffield United and Manchester City man. However, Fulham say that Brown is going nowhere and Coleman recently stated how important he feels the player is to the club by making him captain following the departure of Luis Boa Morte to West Ham.
