This was the peak Clough period where we went on a magic run of form for about 2 months. I think we had a lot of midweek games due to our Cup run.

Plus we were playing that weird system with Baxter as a false 9, so there wasn't a ton of excitement in games.

If it was us it'd only be dragged out for ages. I'm not one for over the top hysteria, well I admit I can be melodramatic at times (lol), I've held my tongue for the vast majority of this time with no signings and trotted out the usual lines like we're hamstrung by having to wait on other clubs which is no doubt true to a point, but this is becoming ridiculous now to not be able to get one player in.
