Has there ever been a situation where a Player passes a medical even through they're 'injured'. Kind of a 'Yeah, I have the broken coccyx n'all, but it'll mend and everything else is OK. so I'm allowed to play out yeah?'

Rumours on the Brentford board that he's out for 3 months.

I'd take this more seriously if we had any way of knowing this 'Roy' (If that even is his real name!) had any credibility where reading other teams forums in concerned. Could be any Jack the Lad for all we know....

Sound familiar?

'One thing I have learnt this season is the reality of the relentlessness of the PL. I had heard about it of course but once you are watching it with your team each week it’s unbelievable. Even the ‘poor’ teams have amazing players . The pressure on defenders is huge and whilst Goode showed promise it feels like we just do not have the time or space to be sure of his eventual quality. In the end I guess it’s an instinctive decision by the coaches on who is likely to succeed and Goode came down the wrong side. Good luck to him'

We'll have then thank you :)

Looks like the Brentford player is signing on loan today as hes at BDTBL having a medical.
played 14 times this season for Brentford and is 6;'5 so nice to get a tall defender in.

Anyone got any info on him ?

I think some high profile PL players have "passed" medicals despite being injured just to force through the transfer. It's down to the signing club to decide to carry on with transfer even if a player fails a medical but I think it possibly impacts any insurance the club takes out on the player.

I think they just sign the player and once fit they do another medical.

Edit: Ighalo when he signed for Man Utd on loan, I don't think he was fully fit. Man Utd were just desperate for another striker and rushed the signing through.

Hello all. He's been injured quite a lot so we've never seen the best of him. A big strong defender who seems a good character, Never really seems to have fitted into Thomas Frank's plans so if it goes well, there's every chance that he'd sign permanently I reckon.

I’m sure the Blades songsmiths will have plenty of fun with Charlie Goode.

Well he wouldn't be starting for us. I think he should have a bit of time to get fit and provide cover for our defenders.

We still have Ben Davies coming back too.

Guess who's back

Back again

Could be goode?

Looking at his appearances over the past few seasons looks like he's had a few injuries?
This season he was starting for Brentford a bit before Christmas before getting injured.

Doesnt need to be mobile, we just need him to elbow people in the head at corners. Well take him.

We like a good injury prone player.

Interesting to see if he passes a medical, we've had others fail medicals most recent R. vieira

Has anybody bid for Maupay yet?
