I'm a big fan of Murray's ,couldnt stand him becore i listened to his talksport show but got total respect for him now

The show he did with Keith Gillespie the night after northern Ireland won at the world cup and were both unashamedly nursing brutal hangovers was comedy gold
 
I like Colin Murray and have never understood why others don't. In any case, infinitely better than that wanker George Riley who preceeded him.

Good coverage tonight, him and Grey waxing lyrical about us and seem to think we will be hard to beat.

I wonder if the pork production has moved on?

The Talksport show was the best thing on there then they replaced him with shouty Jim White

Wednesday fans will be livid and some will be suicidal.

Their ex player and co presenter Michael Gray was asked for his prediction regards which team currently in the top half would have the best season.

He said in that list he'd vote for Sheffield United as his dark horses to have a very good season.

According to Wednesday fans the standard is too high in La Liga, they insist we've got no chance & will struggle.
 
My god someone pinch me is this the same shower that barely mentioned us last season?

Important we keep our feet in the ground guys only one game, important to start well yes but only three points
 
Yeah, their views of us are slightly different from some of the Brentford fans aren't they. Murray was very complementary about the club and Wilder and Micky Gray described us during the highlights as excellent, great play, good possession of the ball and the fact we stuck to 3 centre backs.
Think I might enjoy watching this show this season.
 



Not only did we get some coverage and recognition but the whole show was better put together and we'll presented. For me, more interestingly, was the first look at the opposition in La Liga! Only highlights I know, but Fulham looked really good and a step above the rest. Norwich were really fortunate to get a point. Of the rest, PNE did look sharp, exposing the pig's weaknesses. Villa, Boro, and the other big spenders, nothing to worry about yet, but if they get their act together then could be forces to be reckoned with. The rest forget, I think they'll be quite a difference between the top 8 and the rest, and I think we'll be one of them. Early days I know but I think we'll all be chasing Fulham on today's viewing.
 
Colin Murray is a presenter who I have always rated, he has a genuine enthusiasm for sport, and gives a passionate honest view.

He also walked out on a lucrative contract on Talk sport on principle when News Internstional took over the station.

Fulham did look good, yet Russel Osman said they were poor second half, so best clips of a team can be misleading if you haven't seen the whole game.
 
Agree totally, but of the clips we saw tonight no other team looked as dangerous as them going forward. Norwich, who are a good team, looked at sixes and sevens most of the time.

Football on 5 (available until 19th August). Extended highlights, fulsome praise from Murray and Gray, interview with CW - great stuff. For years we've had a few seconds of coverage after 10 at night. Even in our season in the PL we had that cunt Gareth Crooks (rolling his eyes skywards and pontificating as if he was delivering The Sermon on the Mount) before spouting utter bullshit (Think Diane Abbott) and saying 'Sheffield United? NGE.' (Not Good Enough). Oh how we laughed! Especially when we discovered the real reason we were relegated.
A great watch last night.

BTW, watch Clarke's 'mishit' before his cross led to Sharp's goal. It was entirely intentional and a good bit of skill.

That cunt they had on before was a loiner so I took a instant dislike to him and the token bit off fluff they had at the side of him.
 
Almost fell of my chair watching it this morning - praise for the Blades from TV land! Have they binned off the entire presenting team from last year or do we still have the inane witterings of Clinton Morrison and Chris Iwelumo to look forward to?

Have to say, for an ex-Pig, Michael Gray is alright really.
 
Actually enjoyed watching that. Much better than that over analysed over hyped MOTD rubbish which will be back next week.
 
Murray has always been a good presenter. Before he started saying nice things about us!

Nice to see fans of clubs outside The Premiership not being treat like idiots as usual. Murray has took some stick on Twitter but I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can't see it's a vast improvement on last year's show

What's the consensus about this? I thought it m a y have been deliberate but I'm not convinced.

On other matters, I know Gareth (sic as the kids say these days) Crooks is always a bit over earnest and overfed but at least he can look the camera in the lens unlike that politician you mention and I agree with the consensus about Colin Murray, I think he's a very good, witty presenter and I've heard him mock Wet Sham fans on the wireless about their believing black is white about the Tevez affair.
