It was pointed out a couple of weeks back that the production team is the same West Ham supporting one that did the BBC football league show.. we will get nothing off that lot.

Sky for all its Premier League focus gives us a much fairer crack of the whip.

The thing I notice is things like tonight they mentioned that "Bolton had nearly 4,500 at the match today" BUT no mention of our near 8K, the biggest away following in English football this season.
No mention of it being our 3rd 3-0 win in a row or us winning 9 out of our last 10.

The other week they said
"Bradford has 22,000 at their match" but again no mention of our 28K gates against Bolton and Scunthorpe.

The only time I remember then going into any detail about our crowd was at home to Oxford.
They mentioned we got "19K which was was boosted by a ticket offer", think it was £1 a kid for that match.

However DOES it really matter?
League 1 doesn't even measure anywhere in the media. Even the Championship doesn't get the attention it deserves. Everything these days is premier league or nothing.

I wouldn't big up Sky too much, their highlights are pretty shite and are pretty much the same as what channel 5 get. Also ours are usually one of the last to get uploaded on the Sky website regardless of who we have played.

Overall the coverage is shit and it won't be much better next season apart from we will get more live matches.

Oh shit I seemed to have missed the excellent EFL coverage by channel 5 because I was too busy drinking copious amounts of alcohol and heading bricks to the left and to the right.

They had to give us decent coverage after the Northampton result which they did but other than that haven't been remotely interested. Last season they showed an equal amount of disinterest apart from the times that they were disrespecting us.

I don't blame the presenters or the pundits, they might be gash but they are only following a script.

The producers on the other hand are clearly a bunch of amateurish cuntflaps who couldn't produce a decent turd after a weekend of pubs and kebab shops. Fuck them and their pretend TV channel. Next season we will be on 1 hour earlier and they will be trying to figure out a way to present unbalanced coverage of our derbies against Weeds and the Pigs (perhaps).

There wasn't anything riding on the game - MK are mid-table and top spot is already sewn up. So they showed other games where there was more at stake.
Not really bothered as it's a third rate programme anyway.

I would've liked to have seen some footage of our 33rd minute tribute to Ugo. This was about all clubs in football no matter what division showing respect for a great footballer and a good man. Channel 5 did themselves no favors there.

It'll be interesting next week to see if the roundup is an overall one of the season where we should receive good coverage or where they will concentrate on the Bolton / Fleetwood automatic race.

Bloody nightmare in Winter though, when they were an hour late.

I remember in 1984 I gave my mum away at here second wedding. We got back to the reception about 5.30pm and had a bit of time to kill before the meal. So I strolled 10min down to the paper shop to get a Green Un. Unfortunately this was one of the occasions they were about 45 min late, but you keep waiting thinking they will be here in a minute. Anyway when I got back you can guess I wasn’t the most popular person at the wedding shall we say.
And to make matters worse the Hotel had Greens Un's delivered to them every Saturday.

They WILL focus on Bolton and Fleetwood. They already said. When at the end they said see you the same time next week. (Even though the matches are on Sunday!) Not sure how they will achieve that one.

It has, I don't deny that but up to recently there was usually some other sport worth watching but the cricket is going the same way as the footy, Formula one was better on BBC and will get worse now.
