Change Of Approach?

Here's hoping for a back 4 (or at the very least we go to a back sodding 4 if we get our noses in front) and stop being so open down each side of the park. It is a huge part of us giving so many goals away week after week imo.

It would also be nice to try and hit teams on the break by attacking with a bit of pace rather than pissing about taking an eternity to get the ball in the opposition's final third giving them all the time on the world to funnel back and take up their defensive positions.

I'm afraid our 3-5-2 formation has been sussed and is too open defensively at this standard of football imo.

We need to be more solid at the back.

End of the mantra 'we haven't been sussed'

Rate wilder but it's taken far to long to realise we have and he needs to act. Not very dynamic or bright announcing it before a game.

But who knows how we will play yet , cant make assessments on one game
Score more goals like ours on saturday be up there , defend like we did we wont
but its way to early to tell
As said earlier I dont think many are reacting on just one game, it was happening last season as well,I think people were hoping that the start of the new season things would improve and I am still confident it will, I do think it is an over reaction but as I and others are saying it isn't after one game

last seasons history

8 players gone 4 or 5 new in coutts back soon

just need to focus on the here and now
poor result v swansea , but not season defining
what happened in march has absolutely no relevance now

According to Wilder, a reinvention is in order, and that much is increasingly clear too. The reaction to Saturday wasn't a knee-jerk at losing the first match of the season, but frustration with what seems to be a continuation of the latter part of the previous one.

He turned poor performers into star assets the first time round, he can do it again.

We all know that the latter part of last season was a let down, was it because we started so well, loss of coutts or just run out of steam. Wilder will have looked at all aspects of the last couple of months of last season and i am confident that the squad will be stronger, i think we look to have a better rotation of players this season with the type of player he has added, one game is not going to give us an incite into the whole season. I believe as you do wilder will work his magic on players fitness and performances.

Doubt we'll see many changes, he's primarily speaking about not pressing high up when the situation is not right for it.

Agreed. It’ll be a minor tweak, indiscernable to those who are seeing this a vindication to the toys being thrown out of the pram after 90 minutes.

Change of approach my arse, same starting 11

And it's working a treat so far.

they lost. we're getting mullered.. slight difference ;)
Was a very disjointed display . But nothing we haven't experienced before. The reaction to it is where CW earns his money
Last time we were mullered 3-0 at wolves on a Tuesday we beat Leeds 2-1 on the next saturday
