Championship table for the 12th February 2018

I know it doesn't mean anything but I've been looking at the table from this time last year
1 Wolves played 31, 71pts finished with 99pts
2 Villa played 31, 59pts finished with 83pts
3 Derby played 31 58pts finished with 75pts
4 Cardiff played 30 55pts finished with 90pts
We were 8th on 49pts and finished with 69pts

I know nothing can be drawn from that, but a couple of observations are there isn't a team this season that's remotely like wolves last season, also what a run Cardiff put in getting 35 pts in the last 16 games, while derby only got 17 more points finishing in 6th.
I don't think you'll need 90pts to finish in the automatic spots but I think you'll still need 75 points to finish in 6th spot this season.

Mate, we’d be promoted with games to spare I think. Fuck knows how this will go. There was excitement at Norwich being done at Preston, then I realised we’ve got them ! Teams will pick up and drop form at this stage. I guess around 80 points will do it, maybe 83 for 2nd and 85 for top.

Really impressive thing is how we have improved our goal difference yr on yr when most felt we would get found out up front. Shows what a great season Bill is having and how good McG has been. Getting that feeling again

I think Leeds will get about 90 points--anything above that will likely be enough to win the league.

What is remarkable is that the pigs last year were 3pts worse off having played a game more at the same stage, the play off push is on big time at S6. Another remarkable fact is last seasons 12pts gap at this stage is now a 18pt gap so we must be doing summat reyt.

The game at Elland Rd is looking increasingly critical to our auto chances.

We've nowt to lose on our budget, squad looks solid no ones taking anything out of us,I wouldn't want to play us as we're as tough as anybody .How much bottle have leads got or Norwich,and I think we've gained massively in confidence since Norwich away.

Wilder's sheer bloody mindedness might just get us up .This season is a hell of an opportunity and I'm just enjoying the ride.

If we win tomorrow then I will get excited, I think we're on the verge of a run like Wilder got us on at the back end of the League 1 promotion season. We just seem to be clicking into that machine like unit that is hard to stop when its got momentum.
