It’s so difficult to predict. Boro and Forest will be fancied fo seal a play-off place based on current form, although they have a busy run of fixtures which could take their toll.

Based on the last six games United, Huddersfield and Luton have been dropping points and it’s hard to predict with confidence how they’ll finish. Hudds and Luton play each other soon which could be pivotal.

Blackburn and QPR are heading in the wrong direction. Of the chasing pack, other than Forest, it’s hard to make a solid case for Millwall, or Coventry to gatecrash the play-offs and barring a miracle, West Brom are finished. Swansea are on a great run but have probably left it too late and have a poor goal difference.

I think one of United, Luton or Hudds will miss out, with us probably scraping over the line.

Some big games tonight:

Boro - Fulham (Fulham win please)
Forest - Cov (draw or Cov win please)
West Brom - B’mouth (Baggies win would be huge, given we play Muff on Satday and they’ll be knackered and under pressure).

If results go for us tonight, and we win on Saturday, then…. oh FFS, I don’t know. I need to stop torturing myself with the permutations.

Having filled in my prediction of remaining fixtures, I think it's clear that 6th spot is going need somewhere between 73 and 75 points. I think that cuts down the amount of teams capable of making it. QPR would need at least 14 points from their last 6 games. Everyone below them needs to pretty much win every game.

I reckon it's 4 from 6, but we really need a pick up in form or hope someone else blows up to make 6th or better

I honestly think we're fine. Huddersfield and Luton are blowing up, all of them have to play each other, we've got our games at home (and easier fixtures than the others).

They've already played extra games with their cup runs, and now Forest and Boro have to catch up every midweek- we've already done that and had a little break. They'll be blowing out their arses by the playoffs. Them 2, and Huddersfield and Luton need to worry (I reckon Blackburn are already fucked). Nice steady 3rd or 4th for us.

I have us finishing with 75 points and in the play offs.

I think Forest, Bournemouth and Boro will all struggle with so many games in hand. We can only do what we can do.
We will probably need to beat Fulham on the final day. They will already be promoted by then!

Its the hope that kills you !!

I did it and had us finishing on 73 and missing out on goal difference to Boro....our away form is shocking so a point at both Bristol & QPR is the best we can hope for...we will have to be on top form to get 3 points this weekend and I just can't see us getting anything v Fulham, even though they will be on the beach by then...

Saturday's game is huge....

Bournemouth - draw
Reading - win
Bristol City - draw
Cardiff - win
QPR - draw
Fulham - lose

Swap last 2. QPR Lose, Fulham draw.
A bonus from that needs to be a Saturday win. If we can achieve that, it really does put the pressure on the other teams.

I did mine as honest as possible, the only team I think we'll lose to is away at qpr they aren't great but just a niggling feeling,we'll beat Bournemouth and Fulham why are people scared of Fulham they are up and will have the sandals on by then,as you can see I predicted a few last day upsets coz it often happens

Completely don't know how to predict it.

You'd think that we would be favourable to pick up 3 points in the Reading, Bristol City and Cardiff matches.
The other 3 are against tougher opposition on paper.

Football being unpredictable means we could see us beat Bournemouth and Fulham and not pick up results in the others.

Age old saying, just have to take each game as it comes.

Is this a WW3 affected table Pommps, or did the ADHD kick in again? ;)

edit: Just noticed Derby on 50 points with a game to go. That's some feat considering they're currently on 28 points after 40 games!! WFT you on mate? 😂

When we thrashed Boro I said that there’ll be plenty of twists and turns and I still stick with that there’s going to be some angry heart broken fans I do think that Huddersfield have done enough and just need to cruise into the play offs imo it’ll be us that finishes 6th or worse we’re not renowned for end of season happiness.

1 Fulham
2 Bournemouth
3 Forest
4 Blades
5 Middlesborough
6 Blackburn

That's my prediction, Bereton-Diaz is back for Blackburn which will be crucial. I think Hudders will blow up now and similar for Luton. We'll beat Boro and lose in the play off final with an own goal in the last minute to make it 4 - 5 after been 4 - 0 up against Forest who were down to 7 men from 60 minutes onwards. .

If we make the playoffs it will be in 6th, Think Huddersfield and Forest are the strongest and Boro will get there too. I actually had us in 7th but I was a bit generous to Blackburn. I had Bournemouth L, Reading W, Bristol City W, Cardiff W, QPR D, Fulham D. Thinking about our poor away form, I was reminded that we should have legit beat Blackpool with those goals disallowed and although Saturday was poor it was a really unfortunate goal. Its all going to have twists right to the end. Last night, we dominated and worked really hard, but it was difficult to see where a second goal was coming from to make it comfortable and I think it’s going to be edgy right to the last game. A win on Saturday would be a massive boost for the run-in.

So we are left with a 6 to 9 game shootout for the play-offs. Predict how it ends, here, because you have nothing better to do

I've probably been a bit harsh on Luton. It does look like we either need a strong finish, or hope that someone blows up

I also had Blackburn /Luton / Millwall below us in 7th 8th 9th

with virtually the same points as the above

I'll take that

Then what will be, will be

to be fair, the site I've pointed everyone at, doesn't take the points off either Derby or Reading.

3 points Bournemouth ( we owe them
One )
3 points reading
1 point Bristol ( we are not at it enough away )
3 points Cardiff ( as bad as reading and nothing to play for
1 point QPR ( see Bristol)
? Fulham ( will win if we need to because they will be on the beach, but can see us resting players for the play offs.

All of the above is dependent upon us beating Bournemouth, which will give us the confidence to stamp our authority on the remaining games.

75 points should be enough
3 wins and 2 draws and then:———-

As Alice would say
“Welcome to my nightmare”

I think it’ll be us boro Forrest and Luton. Not in any particular order
