I don’t think Burnley will be up there and I think West Ham will take time to adjust, Wolves will be champions, then it’s anyone’s guess

I was obviously referring to Wilders big money flops, which in my eyes no one can defend
We all know that our manager and also as a club we are crap at signing what we perceive to be big money signings so next season we’ll be signing low value or free players perhaps that may work in our favour finishing 8th is our first imo

To chuck open an old fashioned waiting for football debate. Is Middlesbrough classed as North Yorkshire, they have their own council and are not part of North Yorkshire council, they have their own police force area (Cleveland police) not North Yorkshire police and they have the broader Tees Valley Combined Authority. Depending on where they are classed depends if we have a Yorkshire derby match next season which if not I believe would be a first at this level in a lot of years.

Yes, conveniently missing out his successes.

Nice one.
Mate if you spunk £55m on 3 flops. Ain't know surprise people forget about the 'minnows' or little gens that eventually managed to make the first team as the sun sets on another failed season.

Agree with that.

Big issue is I’ve got no faith in the people in charge to make the right decisions.

Best we can hope for is not being relegated.

At least the hope won’t kill us this time.
Read certain posts on here regarding selling our better players to bring in others to replace them, some are good young decent players what probably need another season to improve even further, I.e peck/ Seriki/ Brooks etc. Utds history suggests sell your up and coming best players, and replace them with lesser talented players, and it eventually leads to one thing.....relegation! We been down this road many times!!

It's getting very tedious, but I'll bite.

McBurnie helped keep us up for another season, and another £120m.

You seem to have missed Clarke, Egan, George, Fleck, Norwood, O'Connel, Didzy, Duffy and Enda, out of your unbiased comprehensive and objective list.
Also who built the squad that eventually got us into the premier league and unlocked the premier league money
In some I shall say loosely supporters eyes maybe we would have been better just piddling about in league 1 like we were before Wilder was appointed

Keith Macklin says they’re Yorkshire

Bolton haven’t been in the premier league for 14 years… far more recently been in league 2.
But they do have a very sensible financial structure and decent leadership.
On the other hand,we have been in the prem recently and look at the state of us🫤.
Not sure I've ever looked less forward to a season.
Jairo leaving sums us up.
Why can't we keep decent footballers.......I wonder🤔

Udders i will tell you what else is scary is that there is one man who has overseen this debacle from start to finish and he is still here and appears untouchable. In any other industry any company whose CEO had sanctioned the complete waste of investment in assets that he has and seen revenue fall by a much as it has would have resigned out of embarrassment or been sacked.
The dog getting wagged by the tail🫤

Wilder will have his work cut out ....too many big teams with big expectations from their fans..even Bolton in there now..a club that not long ago were gracing the Prem.....only one call from me Lincoln will go down.

They got 3 more points than we did in 2016/17, could see them having the momentum for a mid table finish.

Yep - apart from some work on the stadium - what is our long lasting legacy from the circa £500 million we received from our 3 seasons in the Premier League and 3 years of parachute payments? That is what is scary!
The main legacy has been to make some very average players and their agents very wealthy.

100% Middlesbrough is in Yorkshire…..actually North Yorkshire these days. Back in the good old days I saw Yorkshire play cricket there once at Aklam Park!
Fair play, so the “Yorkshire Derby” this year is over 100 miles between the clubs! I know we will have our traditional Yorks- Lancs stuff and our “Friends” at Derby. Lincoln may try and make it a near match. The downside of not having the rivalry fixtures is when we have won them the all club gets a lift and enthusiasm is bubbling. If we beat ‘Boro it’s not a local match

We'd better get our act together and get up and out of this division, because 12 months from now we're likely to find a newly enriched massive club returns from the pub league.

I think Leicester will be down there for more than one season.

The entire population of The World can be split into 2 groups
Those born in Yorkshire
And
Those who WISH they had been born in Yorkshire
