That is one hell of a strong league, lots of parachute payment teams along with strong sides like Boro, Millwall, Norwich, Disney FC & Brum all of which will splash the cash. Will expect Derby & WBA to be in the mix and maybe a league one promotion side giving it a real go. We need to get this summer bang on to even consider a top eight finish.

None of Lincoln, Cardiff or the two playoff teams are remotely in a position to "give it a real go"
Lincoln are the only one with a chance of staying up based on how the club is run. Expect them to be very smart this summer.

It’s interesting which club will get caught napping and be the Leicester of next season. Wouldn’t put it past us to be in that position come Christmas.

I can't see beyond Spurs/West Ham and Burrrrrrnley for automatic promotion next time. The former will be just too strong at this level, and the latter just have the knowhow.

I can't make my mind up about Wolves, but you'd expect them to make the play-offs. Then there's the half-dozen or so who missed out this time who'll strengthen too. It's looking like a very difficult competition next season.

I guess that makes it a good season to “rebuild” then. Always want to go into a season with hope and we’ve been promised a full reset so let’s get behind the lads and see where we are come November.

Missed a great opportunity on a very level playing field last season. As always recruitment and fitness is key along with our younger players hopefully improving further still.

Agree with that.

Big issue is I’ve got no faith in the people in charge to make the right decisions.

Best we can hope for is not being relegated.

At least the hope won’t kill us this time.

Burnley are due to have their bubble burst
Westham/spurs will romp it
Wolves should be ok
Plus money fc Birmingham and Hollywank fc Wrexham
Be tough indeed

Hopefully, for football's sake, it'll be a high quality league. Because it has been lacking the last two seasons.

Norwich are the dark horses for me. Think they get automatic if they're backed this window.

Wilder will have his work cut out ....too many big teams with big expectations from their fans..even Bolton in there now..a club that not long ago were gracing the Prem.....only one call from me Lincoln will go down.

Bolton haven’t been in the premier league for 14 years… far more recently been in league 2.

If we’re to get top eight I think United fans would struggle to get the motivation to go. Too many let downs in the cruelest controversial fashion.

Personally I still can’t miss any play offs as I always have the bonkers idea that if I miss it we will win. Same with FA Cup semis that we have been in. Personally I think we need to be a bit more realistic now, with the clubs in the Championship top 14 would be an achievement. Just let’s try and stay up first and see what happens from there

Won’t know really until transfer window shuts and how much the new financial rules affect it. How many will West Ham have to sell and does Nuno hang around, plenty of talk Burnley need to sell. Wolves could be anything, Hackney will leave boro so they will be weaker. Having seen bits of the 3 promoted sides think they will all be bottom 5 unless they improve a lot. Be interesting to see what odds Norwich are, could be a decent bet

What makes me have no faith?

They’ve already shown big ambition
Kept all our main players (when apparently we are a selling club and every window our fans predict Hamer will go) and we’ve spent big on players.

The manager has been backed and you can’t ask for more than that.

They mistake was trying to modernise the club and change us into a Brighton, Brentford type, too early

But it’s impressive that they quickly learnt from a mistake a returned back to Blady Bladiness.

I still don’t get VAR in play offs that cost us last year

VAR is put in the final because it’s the biggest prize in football so I suppose they want to make simile decisions are correctZ

Regards our disallowed goal Vini was offside and interferint with play running in front of the keeper but the goal was going in anyway, so it probably didn’t interfere with play.

Not sure what the rules says.

I'd enjoy knowing your reasoning why you're confident in the one call, yet don't believe that the side who finished 28 points (I looked it up) behind the team you're certain will be relegated, would also not be relegation certainties?

Every other side in the division will have fans posting something similar....and u know what in nearly all of those our name will be one of those in the list of strong sides.
