When up against it getting bombarded with goal bound shots a good keeper can be pumped up, pulling off save after save.


However a great keeper is defined by when had nothing to do most of the match but at the 1 moment is needed still is focused 100% to pull off vital goal bound saves.

In terms of exceeding expectations , World Class Wes has to be up there with any signing we’ve ever made .

He came as a third choice back up at zero cost and when circumstances conspired to make him our only option , he produced a series of outstanding performances and continues to do so .

His calmness under pressure , positional sense , command of the area and ability to pull off outstanding reflex saves such as the one on Saturday put him right up there with some of our best ever keepers imo and that’s saying something .
