Really don't get this one. We just don't need another CB - particularly one that's barely played minutes. I'd rather pull Baptiste back and give him the rotation treatment that the current lot get.)

Mind you, GK aside, I really don't think we should be signing anyone else this window. I think we're well covered in every position.

Wilder know what's it takes to average 2 points per game in the Championship over a sustained run of games. He's done it more than once.

If he is still clinging onto those faint hopes, he'll know that it will need:

- a much better defensive record
(Cooper's form to improve, recruitment of a CB of the quality of Souttar, cover for DM)

- a fairly clean bill of health for the run in, particularly key players; Cooper, CBs, Riedewald, O'Hare, Bamford.

- Hamer & Campbell's form to improve.

Personally, as I've made clear, I think it's too much to expect but Wilder has a lot of self-belief and I hope he's in the board's ear.
 
I think we need a young pacy striker on a loan to buy other than that we are wasting money which will be needed next year unless we have to move people on to create funds. I.e burrows moved on for more than £5m and sign the young lad from Chelsea on loan to buy

Strongly disagree! With a more solid defence we could be in the play offs already

You think we are well converted at centre forward? When Bamford doesn't play we look toothless up front. Id be looking to shift Campbell and get another CF in who can cover for Bamford.
 
CaptainMorgans Berkshire Blade FriethBlade - I suppose my feeling is that a) I think the ship has sailed in terms of playoffs. And b) I think we have good options across the pitch with the belief that form is temporary.

Tanganga + Bindon is a good first choice CB partnership. M&M are solid backup. Our defence under Selles was dogshit, it's much better now when at full strength.

Bamford, Cannon and Campbell is ample up front. I would retain One and have him on the bench every match and always getting minutes when we play 2 up.

It's a risk assuming everyone stays fit, but it's time to blood more from the Academy with one eye on next season.

I don't believe we have anyone in the academy ready for the first team. Those closest are out on loan with the exception of One.
 
I think we need centre half back up, Mee is solid but not the youngest, Tanganga always carries the threat of a card and suspension, Bindon is still young, does he have the grit for it, McGuinness is meh, not bad at heading but worries me

Perhaps, but a number of them already have first team minutes and looked quite promising in patches.

I don't think it's unreasonable to say Sasnauskas will look better in a less chaotic setup and Jevan Beattie isn't far off now he's had minutes since injury.

We’ve already exhausted whoever out of the current crop will be able to make it. We already rely on our academy, no need to put pressure on those who don’t need it. Also nobody in the academy atm has got any sort of buzz as far as I’m aware.
 
Gets an assist in the 14 mins he plays in the first team and now playing for the development squad, he's scored.

Yeah. Don't think he's coming to us somehow.

 
Wouldn't go too overboard on the assist, it was a deflected shot that ping-ponged off two Chelsea players before getting nodded home.

Not trying to put a downer on him like.
