I think its fair to say if you are a club legend or child hood fan and then play for the other lot and score and then celebrate wildly I could say that would be a shit thing to do, Imagine Billy scoring for them against us Kop end and celebrating wildly I don't even want to conjure the image in my head.

I don't understand why it isn't enough to have a firm handshake and a "nicely played old boy" from a fellow player.

I agree, in my day, you scored and then jogged back to your position ready for kick off, perhaps accepting a few pats on the back from your team mates. Now they put more thought into how they're going to celebrate than actually how to play.

Humbug anyone?

Sky are currently running a poll on should players celebrate if they score in front of former clubs, 44% are saying no!

In respect of Blades which players of ours have scored v former clubs and given it to opposition fans?

And against us which players who used to play for us have celebrated wildly?

Go on, I give in...what's the answer?

I think Leon Clarke will celebrate when he scores against Wednesday this weekend. He'll probably kick an advertising hoarding and be out with a broken toe afterwards.

Regarding Sharp celebrating when he scored against us, didn't he get a lot of grief from our fans saying he wasn't good enough? I can understand he may have felt he was proving a point.
