Sydney FC winger David Carney is aiming to help Sheffield United secure a swift Premier League return.
The Australian has jetted into England for talks with The Blades after being given permission to speak to the Championship outfit.
Carney, formerly of Everton, Oldham and Halifax, believes Bryan Robson's men have the talent to win promotion this season.
"I think Sheffield were unlucky to get relegated last year," he told Sky Sports News. "They definitely want to get up this season.
"Bryan Robson's a great manager. They are still a quality side and hopefully I can do my part in getting them back up."
